SOOO Ice, if you are NC44 get #5 like she said. 7 is way too dark, well orange. LOL I will swatch and try to post 5,6,7 tonite.

But so far I like them. I think you'll love them. They are as light as water weight, but I didn't like waterweight b/c it sat on top of my skin.

I used the brush that came with it and I did get a lil streaky on my forehead. But I used it like a paint brush and it's very easy to use.

Thanks a bunch for this info. I'll probably order soon.

I love the brush, but the foundations are too limited in their color range for me.

I actually think I like #6 on me better. Just a tad more warmth than #5. Maybe I really am orange?!?!?! LOL

SO I did notice that I did get the oilies, like an hour later, and by the end of the day, my concealer outlasted my foundation. I did not set with powder just so I could see how it would wear.

Ok, I've changed my mind. My face is darker than my neck in number 6. I'm really starting to hate foundation/concealer. LOL

I know, they're a p.i.t.a to match sometimes. Since finding EL Doublewear I haven't bothered with anything else but I want to try this for whatever reason. Came here to see what the discussion was. Nothing much I see ;) I passed by the MAC counter today and I heard a MAC girl telling a lady about them. Probably why I subconsciously want to try it after the fact. I would love a compact foundation that was transfer-proof like the EL. Even their compact one transfers like crazy I heard.

I tried it at the counter a day or two after it came out. Wore it for about 4 hours. Loved the way it felt on my skin and loved how the color blended in and looked really natural. I liked it but have not purchased it yet. I would like to do a longer wear time but that would require going into the store in the AM to try it on which I never have time for. Would have been great if they had done little sample packs of this foundation to try it out.

does anyone know what eyeshadows the white model is wearing in the displayer picture? i wish the public had access to the displayer make-up details like how the employees always get them in their update books

If anyone from the UK is interested you can pick this up early on the Selfridges website now. The 197SH brush is also available :D

I finally got around to buying this foundation and the brush. It came last week but I wore it for the first time today. I bought #5 after being color matched through Live Chat. I think it was a good match. I started the application with the brush but It was just taking too long so I switched to the sponge. Yes, it comes with a flat non absorbent seeming sponge like the Lancome cushion foundation. When I went to test it in the store the SA said it didn't come with a sponge and a sponge would absorb too much product. I tried to explain that the Lancome one had a special sponge but she didn't get it so I just gave up. What I like about the Mac sponge is that it is black. The Lancome sponge is white so it looked dirty all the time. The Mac one does not. I thought the coverage was light but the color seemed to match better than the Lancome. I think I may just use the Lancome for summer. I do have some dark spots on the side of my face so I just put on a bit more there and it covered it fine. I did use the dabbing/patting method recommended in the Lancome videos for applying this foundation as well. I still don't quite see the use of the brush but I'll try it again. It is still on now (late evening) and I don't see any oil in my t-zone. In fact, I felt like it looked too matte this morning so I spritzed on the charged water. I'm used to more dewy foundations but this will do.
