What a hot mess.

So all I needed to do was a sex video to not have to work so hard :rofl:Hmmm...maybe I could do one now at my age LOL! It could be called Old bags hanging tough :hehe: or something. Hubs asked if he could be in it :roflmao: heavens...the Kardashians :blah:

Does anyone else feel like we've been punked? Like this is a publicity stunt & not even for real?

To me, the incredible actress from "Orange is the New Black" would have been a better spokesperson. This woman has not only won an Emmy, she has contributed so much to the LGBT awareness. Caitlyn, really???? Won't be buying based on I will not support the media whores of this family.

Yup. Laverne Cox.

Someone can always donate to cause if they care even without a lipstick right?

Even though it looks like a color I'd like, I refuse to support. Can't do it. Laverne would have been sooo much better.

What I meant was....is Caitlyn Jenner for real or is this a Kardashian publicity stunt? Maybe in a year or so when the attention dies down, she will say it was a mistake or something & go back to being a he. I've just never believed it was real.

I won't be purchasing this lipstick either. I think there are more deserving people out there who should be the face and representative for an important cause than Caitlyn Jenner. Plus, going by the lipstick shade description and the look of the lipstick itself, I think it's going to be similar enough to the So Select lipstick that I recently purchased two of, so I will be skipping this.

The cause is good (why wasn't it done before? hmmm...) and the color looks nice, but it's a crèmesheen and I refuse to support the Jenner/Kardashian/West clan, especially a selfish deadbeat parent, vehicle manslaughter driving, Republican, fame mongering person such as Caitlyn.

^^^^^This! Won't rehash the many well stated sentiments. This may backfire on MAC. Any one remember the throw down over the Rodarte x MAC collection that eventually got cancelled? Jenner is def a polarizing public figure.

I highly doubt a transgender person is lying about being transgender for attention. I don't have a lot of respect for that family but that's a little far.

I saw your follow up comment, but I have to say, I constantly feel like I'm being punked by MAC and their spokespersons as of late. It is as if they are literally incapable of choosing someone to represent their causes who is not utterly offensive to me and many others on a variety of levels.

Yet another instance where I would rather donate the money outright to a similar charity than buy the product. The Kardashians (and I do lump Caitlyn in with them) are vile and a perfect example of what is wrong with today's society. I echo the sentiments others shared that someone like Laverne would have been perfect for this and I would have happily bought a tube in support. But no, MAC went the dumbest route they possibly could.

I do think the transition is real... It is too much to go through for a publicity stunt, even for a Kardashian... Still, the way the transition was handled, the Vanity Fair cover announcing to the world she is Caitlyn, the TV show, everything she does... Even the stupid diva photo for this campaign. Way too much, very overdone.

I do think this lipstick is a publicity stunt, like everything they do.

Has anyone seen the Instagram comments when MAC posted this? It got really ugly!

Was the ugly overtone a reaction to Caitlyn as the choice of spokesperson? I'm just asking because I won't go look it up and scroll through it.

It was. People were reproaching MAC on their choice of spokesperson for this campaign and saying how they would not supoort it.

You're probably right. It just seemed so sensationalized with all the publicity that I was skeptical...and, it's the Kardashians ;)
