I highlighted all the things I felt the same about...however I am trying to step outside what I am absolutely drawn too, to try some new things. So I purchased both! I am sure I will have no regrets! The packaging is very pretty! Like @aradhana mentioned, I too had a cold and chapped lips last/early this week when my packet arrived, so have not worn either yet. I am looking forward to giving them a whirl this weekend.

I have a lipstick and gloss backup in my Mac cart. Thinking of pulling the trigger, especially since there is a next day promo code

I don't do lip gloss...seriously I had to pitch a good 15 MAC lip glass products that just sat and never got used!
But for a good cause I went ahead and purchased this one. It really does compliment the lipstick very nicely.
