I have really high hopes for this one but i am not liking the fact they are comparing it with FB or saying if you like FB you will like this because I HATE FB so much...

too heavy? it's more like NOTHING.
absolutely 0 coverage
hard to build . application looks good only if pressed into the skin with hands.
never sets always stays "Wet" and feels sticky
btw i love moisturizing dewy foundations but this is disaster.
liquid and thin like water. literally does nothing for me and when i think who does use this? if your skin is THAT good then you do not need any foundation at all.

I mean MAC Offers so many sheer beautiful foundations... why would anyone ever buy and like FB I can not understand. Sorry for the offtopic

I thought about buying this online but I may need to see it in person. The shade ranges are throwing me off.

And F&B is that foundation that either you really love it, or really hate it. Outside of the L'Oreal True Match (which I haven't used in years), F&B has been the foundation I've consistently repurchased. I think F&B was my first non-drugstore foundation. I finished my most recent bottle last week.

Applying F&B and setting it with MSFN has worked well for me. I have normal to dry skin, so I don't know if that plays a role in how it performed on me. I did notice that it can be a little dicey depending on the primer you use, but it held up well to BECCA's Backlight Priming Filter and MAC's Prep+Prime Skin Base Visage.

I used my fingers sometimes but I normally used either a Beauty Blender or one of my Real Techniques brushes. I saw a YouTube tutorial a while back from a MAC manager that recommended rubbing the product up between your fingers before applying, and that helps with the application as it becomes thicker. I would rub it on the back if my hand and let it sit for a bit.

The Studio Waterweight is supposed to be the step up from F&B, but I'm finding that I need to play around with it more to determine how best to apply it. It looks like it's sitting on top of my skin. It's runnier than F&B so I'm probably applying more than I should.

Quick OT: I've used Face and Body as a mixer (I have it in White), and I noticed along with lightening a foundation shade that's too dark for me, it's also changed the texture. When I use it, I always warm it up and apply it with fingers. (I've never tried F&B on its own.) From my understanding, fingers is the most recommended way to apply. (It definitely gets thicker the more you work it in, or the more you apply; that's how coverage is built.)

On-topic: The shade range of Next to Nothing looks like it runs a bit on the golden-yellow side, at least in the lighter shades, from what I could tell looking at the swatch photo. Skippity skip for me, I think.

I'm testing today a new foundation in Light color. And in my opinion it's not so bad.
On the contrary. Coverage is light to medium. The face looks pretty nice with it.
Next To Nothing is better than F&B.
I'll want to buy it.

Light looks too dark and yellow for me so it's a skip.
I preordered the new The Ordinary Serum Foundation in the lightest shade, I hope it matches and won't break me out. I got an allergic reaction from a bunch of their products (still doesn't stop me from trying more

).
