might get my first x9 palette, the semi sweet one but they are so tiny so that's why I have never tried or bought them before but I like the look of that one. might also get the x15 one because those I really enjoy

I want the palette with outre, it is the only shade that I hit pan from MAC but boy the last row of that palette is a killer! 3 dark shades that I won't use. Persuade that look brown-grey, Dance that look plum-grey and carbon that look dark-grey!!! Argh:((

I'll just leave this here. All I can say is that Carbon looks a lot more pigmented than usual...
Sneak Peek: MAC Eyeshadow x 9 Palettes for Spring 2017 Photos & Swatches

I bought my first Carbon back in December because it was "THE" Carbon, but when I got it, I was like .

Outre is pretty! Bamboo and Everyone's Darling as well.

I never thought about the size, but I think that would be a selling point for me as they're easier to travel with.

I do take my x9 palettes when I travel. I love that they are small and very portable and I can do several looks with them.

And I think I have THE Carbon... I got mine way, way, way back, like 2000 or something and it is super pigmented and blendable.

I've never had to deal with Carbon, as I do have a lot of eyeshadows at home. If I was to to go out and buy one, I would go for the red palette.

alright you guys convinced me to get the semi sweet palette as it looks so nice but I wish they had those colors in the big x15 palette instead (looking at you; bamboo, outre, everyone's darling mostly :E)

Bamboo, Outre, and Everyone's Darling are the three that caught my eye as well!

LOL! Great minds!

I thought this would be a must have but, the colors are duped elsewhere in my stash...and some of the colors I won't use.
Plus, her swatches of the dark matte colors look iffy. So I'll hold onto my coin for other goodies that are coming out. ;)

I just knew something was coming out today but I just couldn't remember what it was. I stopped at the Mac store in the mall to "browse." I saw the work it out stuff and was looking at it and looked to the right and saw the palettes and gasped. I had forgotten all about it. The SA said all the eyeshadows were reformulated to be more pigmented and were permanent. I ended up going to Nordstrom though and they had the collection too. Shocked again. I swatched a few of the palettes. The semi-sweet felt so buttery on my hand! I swatched with a q-tip and it was pigmented. This is a great travel palette. I've been wanting a basic palette that included darker matte colors for the outer v like gray and brown and black. I just wish it had a dark warmer brown. The dark brown seemed cool to me but it probably will work fine.

I just took a look at the persuade in this palette and the one in the Brooke Shield's palette that I've been using nonstop. Comparing them in the pan, the one in the semi-sweet palette looks lighter but I haven't swatched them side by side.
