I got Rhubarb blush today... The finish is unlike any other MAC blush I have, very metallic, almost feels like I'm swatching a Veluxe Pearl e/s. Very pigmented too. The shade is absolutely beautiful but I definitely didn't expect it to be this metallic. It doesn't look as extreme when you blend it out however, so it is wearable.
Some information regarding the finish would have been helpful though (ordered from Breuninger/a department store website, was sold out pretty quickly). Linda was already gone when I checked in the morning, or maybe they never had it to begin with.
I think this will be really gorgeous on darker skintones.

The design of the packaging has to be the coolest thing MAC has ever done. Although I could do without the plastic lid insert that you flip up and that has a mirror.

Well, I thought it was gonna be the same as MAC's permanent Rhubarb blush, but this one isn't even similar. I don't know why they reuse names for something that is the same type of product, but completely different shade, it will only confuse people.

The packaging really is awesome. And this blush formula is quite nice - for anyone that doesn't mind the sheeny/metallic finish. I adore the color, I was hoping it would be a Satin blush tho. But I assume this is a new finish? It doesn't even say anything on the label or packaging, just Rhubarb Powder Blush. It does feel different from all other MAC blushes I can think of.

I'll see if I can return or sell this as I don't think it's right for my skintone and -type (the finish seems to accentuate skin texture). If this releases on the MAC site as well I think I'll get Linda, if it isn't sold out by the time I see it that is.

I was confused by that as well. I couldn't find any swatches before I placed my order, only a pic of how it looked in the pan and it looked very different from the permanent one.

It's up on Saks, with Linda blush listed separately to the other 2 blushes![/

I ordered Linda blush. The powders & the Mattenes. I will most likely place another order. I wanted to grab that blush.

I ordered Linda blush and 3 mattenes - unfortunately Pomegranate was unavailable. I think I'll get the face powder too and hopefully Pomegranate.

I'd like to see more swatches of the other 2 blushes as I'm concerned rhubarb will be too dark and Peach too light, however if Peach is metallic maybe it could work as a highlighter.

I love this packaging and will get everything I can that will work nicely for me!

DAE think that blush looks very similar to Becca's Blushed Copper SSP, Colourpop's Bardot Blush or Stryke (the latter came in a "strobing" kit). Personally, I'm about NC 44 and although I could pull this off, these days I am not a fan of overly shiny cheeks. I don't see myself using this often, and for 40 dollars, I'll skip. Thanks for your lovely swatch and mini review tho. :)

I just ordered from the Mac website. I got Peach blush (to use as a highlighter), the Pro Longwear Powder x 2 (which is $25 on Mac and $45 on Saks) and Pomegranate lipstick.

Not crazy about the packaging but I love ALL the lipstick and blush shades. But did too much damage recently so I'll only get them if they ever go on sale.
