Im sure theres tons of youtubers Jeffree could have/could still do a video of swatches with (or even just post on his site/IG...kind of like what Colourpop does). I know you've seen our photos and swatches on the forum and social media, but I wanted to share a quick review of the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks with you. So, let's get right down to it!



The first thing I noticed and liked was (of course) the packaging. It's super cute and different from many other liquid lipstick packaging on the market! It's transparent (so you can see the color of the product), and it has a bright pink cap with rose gold accents. I love how fat the tubes are because they are wide enough to stand on their own so you can line them up and display them on your vanity without using a lipstick holder.


[h=3]Nudes & Neutrals:[/h]

I'm Nude is a very light nude with a peachy undertone. Pale nudes usually don't work for me, but I kinda like this one. When I first applied it, I wasn't feeling it. (I thought it was a little too light.) But once it dried down, it actually looked really nice and natural. No chalky concealer lips! That said, your skin tone will play a big part in how this shade will look on you.

Celebrity Skin is a beautiful brown nude with a rosy undertone. I can't get enough of this shade! It looks really flattering on everyone I've seen.

Posh Spice is a medium brownish gray nude. It's the perfect shade of greige that looks edgy yet wearable. Very 90's grunge!

Dominatrix is a rich dark chocolate brown. This shade is limited edition.

Weirdo is a pure matte black. It is eye safe, so it can also be used as liquid eyeliner. I do find this one a little runny, so it's best to shake the bottle first before use.


[h=3]Striking & Sultry:[/h]

(714) is a bright pastel pinkish coral. This is another limited edition shade.

Anna Nicole is a bold orange-toned red. It makes a beautiful statement lip color.

Prom Night is an intense, vibrant fuchsia pink that really packs a punch. Gorgeous!

Masochist is a medium-deep berry pink. It reminds me a little of MAC Pleasure Bomb.

Unicorn Blood is a dark vampy red with a brown undertone.


[h=3]Bold & Exciting:[/h]

Dirty Money is a dollar bill green. This unique and exciting shade is limited edition.

Jawbreaker is a limited edition bright pastel blue.

Blue Velvet is a vibrant royal blue with a purple undertone. I believe this one is limited edition too.

I'm Royalty is a gorgeous shade of royal purple.

Blow Pony is a fun and bright pastel lavender.


Short story ... I tried to stay away from matte liquid lipsticks because I thought they'd be overly drying. These are the first liquid-to-matte lipsticks I've ever tried, and I'm incredibly impressed! The formula is so amazing and intensely pigmented. These last about 8-10 hours on me without bleeding, chipping, fading, smudging, or transferring. What I love most about the formula is how comfortable they feel on the lips. I don't find these drying at all. Jeffree Star has completely turned me into a liquid lipstick loving convert.
