Authenting MAC Blush - Rose Quartz

Hi all!

I was wondering if I can get confirmation whether this MAC Rose Quartz blusher is authentic? I thought I was getting the Rose Quartz Mineralize Skinfinish (but I suppose that is my fault for not confirming that it's a MSF)...I didn't realize that there is a Rose Quartz Powder Blush...

Any help is MUCH appreciated! :)

It looks like a fake to me.

As far as I know, there's never been a blush called Rose Quarts - just the mineralized skin finish. And the placement of the batch code looks suspicious to me.

There was a Rose Quartz blush that was released but it was quite awhile ago and I'm not sure with what collection. There are reviews about it on MakeupAlley going back to 2001...http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp?ItemID=2129.

The Batch code A10 either means either January of 2000 or 2010 and it was long discontinued by 2010 so it must be January 2000 so it is quite old. That means the packaging could be different from what you would see today. Sorry I don't have one to compare but I just wanted to let you know that Rose Quartz was a valid blush color.

Hey where did you find that blush? It actually looks legit and it's a blush I've been trying to hunt down forever! It was discontinued a very long time ago and the picture of the back is accurate of what the old packaging was like.. I'd love to know where you found this.. would love to buy it.

The OP hasn't been around for a long time, and the post is over four-and-a-half years old. You'd be super lucky to find it anywhere now.
