All Cosmetics Wholesale (ACW) = ALL BOGUS MAC: Reported to Corporate

Hi Crystal, Thanks for the response (and the welcome!). I cannot even speculate as to whether *Factory Blems* are legit. I know that MAC (Estée Lauder) is exceptionally rigorous with their product inspections, and they take GREAT care to guarantee all product and packaging is pristine. I also know that it is possible, despite all of those measures, for a wonky lipglass (or 2!) to make its way into the market. You gals are perfectly entitled to be skeptical; you work hard for your money, and you should feel confident when spending it! My personal experience with ACW was a positive one. Thankfully! And I appreciate the effort you ladies have put forth to give potential buyers information that might help them in the future. I just wanted to share my experience as well, so potential buyers have as much info as possible.

Hey there! I am new to Specktra, as well, and so excited to have found a great community of makeup lovers! I really appreciate all of your time and effort put into researching this site. I have been wondering for some time whether or not I should make a purchase, but something kept holding me back (my skepticism!). Now I feel better about not buying. I think I'd rather be safe than sorry in this case. You have to be so careful about what you put on your face!

MAC/Estée Lauder has messed up products destroyed right away & would never allow them to be sold at any location in store or online or even shipped to locations in the first place. Basically, there is no such thing as a “factory blemish”. They're just bad fakes that are trying to be passed off as authentic MAC.
Crystal, Something JUST occurred to me: as I previously mentioned, I investigate questionable MAC products sold on eBay, Twitter, Instagram, etc., and because of this, I've been introduced to a few companies that sell authentic MAC products (as well as other high-end cosmetic lines). These companies are not associated with MAC/Estée Lauder. They're kind-of like CCOs, but they're strictly online "stores." ...and they ALL have some type of "imperfect/blems" section. The products they list in these sections are fine; it's the LABELS on these products that are blemished. Many of these "blemished" lipsticks are missing a bottom label or they're mislabeled (ie: Ruby Woo color, with a Pink Plaid label). I realize this is a suuuuuper random post, but I wanted to update my previous post with my additional thoughts. Hope you all are having a BEAUTIFUL holiday!

If you don't buy it directly from MAC or a partnered retailer you are most likely buying a fake product. It's not worth it! These products are not approved for sale by the FDA/ your country's health department and can contain very harmful products not approved for use on skin/eyes/lips. It's not worth it!!!!!

CCO's are actually part of Estee Lauder. They even have employee only CCOs in the Estee Lauder warehouses.
Also, at least here in Canada, Estee Lauder has warehouse sales 4x a year where they offload old product from several lines (Clinique, MAC, Estee Lauder, Smashbox, Ojon, Bumble & Bumble, etc. just to name a few). Now there is a limit on what you can spend but a lot of random stuff shows up from sale to sale. One time I found MAC Cold Comfort Creme for a friend (it's still in the permanent line), a discontinued MAC lip gelee for another friend, and then the last time I went I found an Origins body butter that had been discontinued years ago -- I was ecstatic. They have BINS and BINS of this stuff around and it's still good (not expired or gone off). They sell off a lot of their boxed perfume sets and makeup palettes too. I wouldn't be surprised if some people doing re-sales sourced their products from these sales and get around the spend limit by having various friends go in for them to purchase.

Ive ordered from them a few times, nothing major. No issues, but Ive heard rumors that they mix the fake products in with the real ones to throw people off......

Hello MacVigilante. My name is Sheri Butte and I am the owner of ACW (allcosmeticswholesale.com). I am writing in to set the record straight on our company. First and foremost, we greatly appreciate our amazing ACW customers. Without them, we would of course not exist. So to our many fans and loyal customers, we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! To those of you here and out there reading, if you have had less than a perfect experience with us, I want to personally apologize to each and every one of you. I would also ask that if you have an issue, please email me personally at [email protected]. I am happy to help in every way that I can.

It saddens me greatly that there is so much incorrect information out there in the social media world. If you knew me, you would know how incorrect 99.99999% of it is. Personally I feel that posting information on blogs should be based in fact, and not opinion as we all know how much misinformation can hurt a person and I would never want to be responsible for that. Therefore, I would like to share some FACTS with you all.

I have been on a mission for over 10 years to rid the world of counterfeit cosmetics. Why? Because they are dangerous and counterfeiting is stealing! It is personally hurtful that people see ACW synonymous with counterfeit when I we work so hard to keep fake product out of the marketplace. No one, no matter how much money you think you can make from selling fake product, should EVER sell something less than original. Its simply wrong and there is a human being or multiple human beings, being hurt behind every company you think you are not hurting by knocking off their product.

For those of you that do not know, ACW is primarily a discount beauty website. However, we also carry a few full price retail lines for the convenience of an all in one shopping experience. For the lines that we offer at discount (below MSRP/Retail), please be aware that these products are purchased at discount from retailers and manufacturers for reasons including: shelf pull inventory, excess inventory, mislabeled inventory, less than retail perfect manufactured goods (we normally notate these as "Blems" and this is a term that we coined, not any manufacturer or brand thus it would mean nothing to a specific manufacturer), damaged inventories and discontinued inventories. For these and other reasons, we state that discounted items on ACW may NOT be retail perfect. Be aware that due to what may be a less than retail perfect item available on ACW, we do not recommend our discounted items for gift giving.

No, we do not buy on ebay and resell on ACW. No, we do not sell counterfeit cosmetics or "replica's" or "copies" or whatever term is being used by the counterfeiters this month. Yes, shipping is expensive. We know, we don't like it either. Yes, quite often your total purchase will be less than your shipping costs...that just means we have amazing prices!!! ;)
I personally guarantee that every single item offered on ACW is 100% Authentic. I can make this guarantee because we buy from the approved retailers and manufacturers direct. If you purchase an item from ACW that you feel is less than authentic, just send it back. Its that easy. You would be incorrect in your assumption of in-authenticity, but that does not matter to me. What matters to me is that you are happy with your purchase and you WANT to come back and see us again. Bottom line. We have been in business for over 13 years because of our ability to provide authentic products at sometimes unbelievable prices and have the privileged of serving the most amazing customers EVER!

If you or anyone you know has a question, comment, concern or just wants to say hello, give them my email. I would love to help!

My direct email again is [email protected]. I thank you all for reading and hope to hear from everyone here that has a concern.

Thank you for taking so much time to do the research & education us all on all of this. Yes, fakes have terrible things in them - 20/20 did a story on the horrible things in fake MAC just recently! Your hard work is appreciated by this person & hopefully by many, many more MAC lovers, too!!!
