I hear you regarding slowing the train
I have had my eye on NARS Greta and Chanel Palpitante...however I am just thinking of holding off until 2015 on all other make-up (and maybe even these 2!).
I was disappointed with BAR only because I wanted the pink to be as vibrant as it appeared in photos. It's more of a pinked-white. Other than that, the shadows are pigmented and easy to blend. Just don't buy it thinking the pink is brighter than it actually is IRL. Other than that, I love the palette---actually wearing it today.

Thanks Medgal! I definitely don't need more eyeshadow but I have a nordies note that's burning a hole in my pocket. I'll probably check it out in person next time i'm by a Chanel counter.

Both Greta and Palpitante are gorgeous---can't go wrong with a Chanel red that's for sure!
I do make an ernest effort to slow the train but somehow the breaks fail and I'm back at it!!!
Same here. White and pink shades are very similar on me, and way too glittery. I expected more from that palette. :/
