Rave for Real Techniques brushes

I have seen pictures of them all over the place! Is the quality the same as the brushes with the regular packaging? They look absolutely beautiful with the metallic finishes ...
Sam and Nic just posted a video about them yesterday... Short version: They're supposed to be even softer than the regular line, because highest grade of synthetic fibres were used.

The new bold metals collection is gorgeous! I'm going to pick up the contour brush and one other one (not sure which yet) next week. I ended up trying the blush and buffing brushes and I like them a lot, the regular Real Techniques brushes are great, especially price-wise. I've also been using their makeup blender for a while, it works just as well as my beauty blender.
Update: the contour brush sold out first at both ULTA's near me. :( I ended up getting the powder brush, oval shadow brush, and angled liner brush. So far I've tested out the oval shadow brush. It's actually bigger than I expected, but gets the job done. It currently looks weird because of how my Melt Love Sick shadow left a stain on the brush. All of the bristles on the brushes I have are quite dense. Still on the hunt for the contour brush though! (Way to go, RT, you sucked me into buying an extra brush and convinced me to still look for the original brush I wanted...)

SO Sad that the Bold Metals are not being considered in the bogo50% sale. Guess we'll just have to bite the bullet on these, but they are SOOooo Pretty! Thank gawd they don't have the awkward huge flat bottom though!

They actually were on sale B1G1 50% but it was only for a few days

Really?! Hmm! Then I will definitely hold off on purchasing this set till the deal is back :) thanks for the heads up!

I've been on the hunt for the Bold Metals blush and powder brush, but all the brushes except the ginormous eye brush have been sold out at the Ultas near me :/ anyone else having an issue finding them? I don't want to purchase online, I would prefer to be able to pick my brush out in person...

If you have a Bed Bath and Beyond with a Harmon in it Real Technique brushes are $2 off. This does not include the Metal ones or sets. I just saw this recently. I think it's instore only though.

Hi everyone. Newbie here :)

Just wondering if anyone knows where we can get RT in Canada? All the beauty vloggers rave about them but I have no idea where to get them... Sephora here doesn't carry them. There are also lots of really cheap ones online that look just like them, but don't know if the quality is the same? I'm scared to land with cheap dupes!

Also Kat Von D just came out with their 10th anniversary brushes and they look just like these RT metallic ones?

Real Techniques Locations | Real Techniques - select Canada and it'll show you where. (You can also order direct from the RT site.)
