Master this season's eye shades in less than 10 mins!

Great tips from LHJ. Follow these 8 steps to master this season's eye shades in 10 mins or less!

Eyes: Undereye Prep (1 minute)
Start by dabbing eye cream from the outer corner up to your brow bone. Next, apply three thin dots of concealer under your eye, starting on the inner corner (where skin is the darkest), another under your pupil, and the last on the outer edge. Blend the concealer with a brush until it disappears into your skin.

Eyes: Base Shadow (1 minute)
Next, apply an off-white or beige eye shadow over your eyelid, from the lash line up to the brow bone, with a medium-sized, fluffy shadow brush. Use a shadow with a matte texture, typically found in a shadow palette, for a neutral base. The effect: A brighter eye, as well as a foundation for the color to adhere better.

Eyes: Cream Color (1 minute)
Gold cream shadow is a great update from your usual brown-toned powder shadow. With your finger (which smoothes cream on better than a brush), dab the cream from your lash line up to your crease. Another option: the season's metallic-tinged pressed powder shadows, which last longer than creams but aren't quite as glimmery.

Eyes: Top Liner (3 minutes)
Dark green liner (in liquid, cream, or pencil) pairs beautifully with gold. Draw the line as close to your lashes as possible, extending it from the inner corner to the outer corner of your eye. (Don't worry about making the line perfectly straight.) Go back over the line with the liner's smudging tip, for a softer outline.

Eyes: Bottom Liner (2 minutes)
Repeat the process on your lower lash line, lining it thinly from the inner corner to the outer corner and even extending it a bit past your lower lash line. Again, finish by smudging the line softly, which will emphasize your eyes without making them look overly made up. You can add a bit more liner if necessary.

Eyes: Brighten the Corners (30 seconds)
This step creates the illusion of a bright wide-eyed look. Choose a gold or pink highlighter, since they are more flattering than bright white. Draw a V-shape that follows the inner corner of the eye and blend the edges with your fingers.

Eyes: Highlight Your Brows (30 seconds)
Create a feeling of an even-bigger eye -- and set it off prettily -- by dabbing the same highlighter from the previous step directly beneath your brow bone; concentrate it mostly from your mid-brow outward. Blend with your finger to eliminate any visible contrast between the highlighter and your shadow.

Eyes: Finish with Lashes (1 minute)
The ultimate final touch: luxurious lashes. Start by placing the wand at the base of your lashes; slowly wiggle it from side to side as you extend the wand up your lashes, repeating several times. (This helps to reduce clumping.) Apply just a bit of mascara on your bottom lashes, concentrating just near the lash line.
