MAC A Novel Romance Collection (Aug 21, 2014)

Hello Ladies, I, too, received my lippies today. I am going to go out on a ledge and say I am of the few that is not crazy about this collection any more. GK is way to bright for me to wear alone. I will have to mix it with another color to tone it down a bit. LK is nothing like TTT in my opinion. It's ok but I like Sin and TTT better. I may feel differently in the fall. It difi I rely pulls dark, dark brown on me. Hearts Aflame is not bad. I will get some use out of it. YTL is simply gorgeous.

i am so offtopic but how fast does mac process returns? they received my return on friday. i have never returned anything before

My Macy's had Hearts Aflame. They had all on Thursday. By Saturday, Myself and Novel Romance were gone. They had put dupes in their place and weren't exactly being forthcoming about it either.

When the SA tried to put it on me..I'm like nope I want the Novel Romance collection and they ain't that I was glad Lingering Kiss was still in stock since I had really wanted it for my Back 2 Mac. I had looked at Myself but I decided it was similar enough to Pet Me Please and Creme that I needed something different.

I hate when they do that. You have to go to the counter knowing what is supposed to be there or you will miss products. They should just put sold out sign and/or signs indicating these are similar colors.

For a fall collection. I didn't buy nearly as much as I usually do but that is good. It just didn't float my boat.

My Cheeky Bugger arrived today - LOVE it. It's a much better choice for me than FE. So glad I managed to track it down.

I knew you would love it! Its become one of my favorite go to blushes. I also love to layer other blushes lightly over it - like sharon's blush just lightly on the apples of the cheeks. I love the texture of it.

I love natural looking blushes with satin finishes; I have too many of them but can never resist one I can convince myself is just different enough from what I have.

Sadly MAC now hires people with no makeup experience whatsoever, both for freelance and for permanent positions. This means that people who have no idea what the hell they're doing makeup-wise are working in peoples' faces. S Sorry that happened to you Wahoo!!!
