So is it kinda sad that when I called my counter around noon today to ask if they still had the lipstick and lipglass the SA on the phone said "Melissa, is that you?" My reply- "uh...yes, it's me." Her- "I thought I recognized your voice." Guess there's nowhere to hide when your makeup addiction runs deep.

Finally got my goodies today. Going to back up the gloss. The lipstick is ok but looks better with the gloss.

I plan on wearing mine with nightmoth alsoOkay I went in stores today and tried on the lipstick and my first impression was I did not like it at allhboy: But I was convinced to get this lipstick because I really support Viva glam and so the MUA suggested I try it with the gloss and liner so I paired it with Nightmoth and put on the gloss and OMG gorgeousness! I put on the lipstick first and slightly shaded in the corners with night moth and put the gloss just in the center and I loved the outcome! It makes it a lot more wearable and the gold frost doesn't shine through as much and it looks very purple. I could definitely see myself wearing this combo with all black for a night out :eyelove: I don't think many people will like the lipstick alone, I definitely recommend purchasing the lipgloss with it, it just totally transforms the shade. It is very similar to Icon but Icon is more wearable IMO and its more frosted and not as dark on the lips compared to VGR2. I will definitely have to get a backup of each I really love how unique it is!
Its so hard to photograph it looks so much better in person!

so after careful consideration.....I don't think I like it on me :/ I think this really shines on darker skintones but for me at NC25 this just looks kinda.....ugly on me lol i think this might be making its way back to the store, but I feel so guilty bc its charity!!!!

Hi Hun seen your swatches it does look fab on you But if you feel that way maybe it's best That's the reason why I didn't buy it as I don't think it suit me I could be wrong but I'm not even going to go there maybe it grow on me with seeing swatches more in time then I will order one I'm a nw25 I see if I can get to a mac store at some point but maybe not If not I can always see if hubby don't mind getting me one from the airport Then atleast I haven't spent out money I not got
