The face brushes my favorite. The expert face brush and the buffing brush especially. I'm in Canada and get mine from iherb.

I really like the buffing brush for applying foundation. I wanted to love the blush and powder brushes, but they are way too big and floppy for my liking.

I am glad someone else thought that. Thought I was crazy. I love the foundation brushes but couldn't get the blush or powder one to work for me.

i love my rt brushes! i use the buffing brush for my powder foundation (after trying it for my liquid) and the deluxe crease brush for concealer since it's waayyy too big to fit in my crease. i've got both core sets minus the duo fibre, stippling, the shading brush, as well as the complexion sponge. i use them all the time, except for the fine liner brush and the pixel point i think it is. i just don't like eyeliner brushes that are like that, i prefer an angled liner brush especially for wings. the ones that are straight like that are so messy imo :(

I really like blush brush with pink handle for bronzer. Also their silicone eyeliner applicator is great for fluidlines.

ULTA SALE ALERT!!!
ULTA is having the buy one (at regular price), get one 50% off deal on brushes.
You can also use the $3.50 off a $10+ purchase coupon valid in store and online.

Offer goes on from Sept 7-Sept 27.

My purchase was in-store. Here is my receipt and indeed it's a GOOD deal on the Real Techniques brushes. Even the cashier at ULTA said, "That's a really good deal on those brushes!"

I purchased the core collection and the starter set. Total $25.48 (including taxes)

what do you all find works best to clean these brushes?
I've used baby shampoo, Dr. Bronner's liquid soap, and (behind spoiler b/c slightly TMI)
Divacup cleanser
to deep clean my brushes, including these ones, and they all do the job really well.

My favorite foundation brush is Real Technique's Expert Face Brush. It works with all my foundations. I also have their eyeshadow brushes, but I don't reach for them too often. Next I'm going to order the Stippling Brush. My friend's been raving about it.

One of my favorites too!

I really wish they sold the buffing brush individually. I want it but I don't really care about the other brushes in the set.

I've been wanting to try RT brushes for so long, but I recently got the Sonia Kashuk 15th Anniversary brush set, so I think I'm good for a while...

I know it's not
My favourite Real Techniques brushes are the large Powder Brush and the Blush Brush which both come individually. I also really like the set of eye brushes. I've seen quite a few dupes on eBay, though I'm not sure if they have the same quality as the Real Techniques ones. I might purchase some "dupes" to compare them though.
Has anyone tried those generic eBay ones yet? I've heard so many people say they're exactly the same but...

The blush brush is the one brush that didn't work for me at all, but some of the others are really nice... i specially like the expert face brush :)

Has anyone seen the new real techniques brushes at ULTA? They are in metallic packaging and cost significantly more then their regular line of brushes. I bought one a shadow brush for $14.99 and used the $3.50 coupon. I'll add pics in a bit.

I have seen pictures of them all over the place! Is the quality the same as the brushes with the regular packaging?
They look absolutely beautiful with the metallic finishes ...

I only have the Oval Shadow brush. I hate to say it's still in it's packaging. LOL I'll get it out later and take pics and post my thoughts here.

LOL well you have to enjoy looking at it for a little while before you use it! I'll keep drooling over pics until I can get to Ulta to pick up a few

Here is the brush in and out of packaging and in comparison to the MAC 239 My first impression is as follows. They used some sort of adhesive to keep the brush in the packaging. It didn't remove cleanly. I will have to use goo gone to get rid of it completely. It's a very dense brush. I will update when I finally use the brush. So far other than the adhesive it seems ok.

The new bold metals collection is gorgeous! I'm going to pick up the contour brush and one other one (not sure which yet) next week. I ended up trying the blush and buffing brushes and I like them a lot, the regular Real Techniques brushes are great, especially price-wise. I've also been using their makeup blender for a while, it works just as well as my beauty blender.
