I was most excited by the quad but it doesn't look so interesting on her swatches. Especially mint green looks more of a white :-(
I was just about to post about this. I ran to Saks yesterday when I found out they had the collection. I was curious about the mint shade as well. These type of colors always swatch white on me as well. Well it did so I passed. I still don't know about the balls. I was interested in the Dore ones but it is really hard to tell how it looks on your hand. It may just be a buy at your own risk type of product for me. I decided to wait until my regular SA was in and see what she thinks.

I see what you mean, but I'd be interested in seeing the quad swatched on pale skin too before ruling it out for myself.

Here are more swatches:

I'm working on my post of the quad now. Ummmm, is all I can really say about it. It really does not seem to flow well at all. Seem like a jumbled mess of shades. It does not swatch how it looks in the pan at all. I really, really am not liking it in the least. I thought Quadrille had a "rabbit eyes" shade--boy was I wrong. This one takes the cake. That "purple" shade--I don't know about it. But maybe it's just me. I think my husband said "yuck" when I was swatching it.

I have this issue with the Coup de Foudre quad from Spring. I love that quad but I only use the shades individually with other shadows, I don't like how they all look together. And I haven't seen anyone do a nice look that incorporates both the greens and the coral shade lol I like to use the greens with my Armani Gold Hercule shadow instead

My Guerlain quad should arrive this week. This is going to be interesting.

I feel the quad will not work on me. The gloss and nail polish look very pretty but I'm not sure if I will pay that money for them. Here is a swatch of the gloss. Still excited about the blushes. http://bestthingsinbeauty.blogspot.sg/2013/12/guerlain-gloss-denfer-in-star-dust-from.html?m=1

Thanks for the links! I really like the quad.
I really like it too! I swatched it today at Nordstrom and the colors are pretty. I'm hoping Nordies will have a GWP in a couple weeks though so I'm waiting to purchase it until then. What I didn't like were the balls. I swatched Claire with the Guerlain meteorites brush and they were way sparkly! I was expecting something subtle but wow! Maybe a different brush would work better.

I totally agree. I love Coup de Foudre but have the same issue. I have played with it and tried all kinds of combos but just couldn't get a good look to come together just from the quad. This one is a skip for me. I thought I would have liked it from the earlier pics. Oh well there are a few Chanel quads I've been putting off buying to get LE products.

I love Coup de Foudre too. I like to use the light green on the lid with the darker colours in the crease and under the eyes. I use the coral in the inner part under my eyes or on the top around the edge of the crease colour. I use it as an accent colour. My bf always really likes the looks I do with that quad. I've also gotten compliments from others.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that likes it!

Ladies, I just can't agree with Coup de Foudre shades not working together. Here is one possibility to use them all together:

This looks really nice on you! I don't think it would work w my coloring though, I mostly use the greens together and then the coral with different colors

Lovely look! I also agree with you, I love wearing all 4 of the Coup de Foudre together! That said I can't see the mint green in the newest quad working for me at all. I feel its a bit of an out of place shade in the new quad unlike CdF where the coral was a striking enough contrast to work.

I'll be very interested to hear what you think of it peanut and LiliV
It's here, but I'm scared to open it. After I saw the swatches, I just wasn't as excited. I didn't realize how shimmery two of the colors were. I don't mind one, but two is overkill for me. Maybe there is something to the notion of waiting for the swatches before ordering.

Here is Jenny's review of Les Tendres http://www.belletristicbeauty.com/2014/01/guerlain-les-tendres-ecrin-4-colours-meteroites-blossom-spring-2014-review-swatch.html I think it is hard to say anything before trying. But it is right that two of the color shades are very close in terms of intensity and then the other lighter shades which are also close, makes it hard to use them together. I don't know if Guerlain eye shadows could be layered but it can be an idea...

My quad arrives tomorrow (weather permitting though, since we're due for a huge snow storm!) and I'm excited for it, I just wish the mint color was more vibrant. That's what they should've called this collection, "Mint but not really, Spring 2014"

the nail polish and the lipgloss have the same thing going on, they look mint but aren't. I like the other shades in the quad though, I love cool toned browns and mauves

Thank you for the link. This will probably be a skip for me. I haven't completely committed to skipping though. Still debating.
