Just came back from a lunch-hour trip to Shoppers Drug Mart and they had the spring collection in (still haven't seen it at The Bay).

I bought the eyeshadow quad, both bubble blushes, the brow kit, star dust lipgloss and nail polish, moka mascara, and lipstick in attrape couer. Can't wait to try my new goodies!

I hope everyone is able to track down all the items they want!

The new ones are available in my Neiman Marcus store and I bought them in Clair (Teint rose in old ones) and I LOVE THEM!!
Has anyone tried the new Meteorites? I'm kinda hesitant whether to scoop an old one at NM or Bloomies or try the new one... I personally like the older packaging better.

Wasn't out yet... So rather than just not spend the points, I got a Dior cream shadow and Mitsouko Rouge Automatique.

I saw the collection. The bubble blushes dried down to a matte finish on my hand, and very quickly too. Maybe because my hands were bare. If applied over foundation perhaps it would be different.

The blushes do dry down on the face over foundation, but it seems to take a little while. Or maybe I am being too critical LOL? I like the Cherry color on, but most people should probably pass on the pink. I need to pack the pink on to get a decent color, and I am about NW 15 right now.

the bubble blush gelee notion came up about 3 years ago -- and was just left without any finite decision at the time. These products need a similar colour powder over them or they slide right off primed/foundation skin. They do not last long and re-app is needed. The texture is lovely although colours are weak... but it is a cute toy and not a workhorse product. I personally don't like to work hard on mu app or retouching.

Thank you for the info!

I have been mainly using them as bases for powder blushes. Not because I knew the history behind them but b/c they don't seem to work really well any other way. I started doing that by trial and error. I will apply one of them, decide that more "oomph" in color is needed, and end up dusting a powder blush on top. The cherry can give a nice color on its own, but as you said it doesn't last.

Pass for me then! Not paying so much for something that takes a lot of effort. I usually don't reapply anything besides lips.

I agree MissQQ and HAven, they are overpriced products which don't deliver as well as they should. As I recall there were like 7 shades but the most hghly pigmented are the ones put in production and being sold now. The rest were like sheeer washes of coloured water.. lol

Sounds like its a pass for me for the blushes. I thought the colours are pretty but what's up with the pink one not showing up. And the texture doesn't sound pleasant. Hope you will like the gloss!
Miss QQ, the texture is just perfect. The shades are pretty sheer but really pretty. The scent ( violet ) is very nice. Only the packaging is cheap, but otherwise it's a a very good blush ( even if not intense ). I chose Pink and I really love it ( I am NW 20 ). I am very much disappointed by Chanel spring ( just picked up the quad and Charivari ), Guerlain is much more better this spring, the quad is so lovely, and the 2 cream blushes are worth purchasing, in my opinion that is.
