I heard from someone that they seem very dry... And i trust her opinion. I hope it's just a bad tester
These feel dry to the touch. I wish I'd tried these with a brush, because Guerlain is pretty good with powders. I'm not sure that I'm being fair with my finger swatch. The colors are gorgeous but the colors don't seem very complex to me. I realize these aren't the duos, which naturally have a lot of depth because there are literally two different products to blend. Still.

A bit off topic, but I haven't loved anything Lancome in a long time. I swatches these Lancome duos and was really surprised how nice they are.

I played with the two fall Guerlain eyeshadow palettes--they are beautiful cool toned shadows. Very finely milled. The larger 6-color had a lovely mix of mattes and iridescent shades--very grey and cool though. I was in a hurry, so I didn't have time for a try-on, sadly.

I picked up Morning Rose blush, a pretty soft pink, I'll try it on later. Next will be Chic Pink.

Today I got Chic Pink and Wonder Violette lipsticks from Shoppers Drug Mart. For some reason, they didn't receive any of the Les Cendres (19) eyeshadow quads, but they did receive a tester.

So I found the quad at The Bay and bought it there. That Bay location only received one of the quads, so I would say if you really want this item, you might want to pick it up as soon as you find it.

The colors look very orange based, disappointed

Morning Rose is lovely but the texture is a bit stiff in my opinion . It applies easily with a good brush though and the colour is délicate and subtle. I had a lipbalm for Free so I picked up Pink me Up. It is very sheer but I would say It is a good go-to lipbalm . The packaging is meh but on the whole the product itself is not bad.

I think you can skip if you want something pigmented.

Maxime Poulin (Guerlain Makeup artiste) used Beaugrenella on my eyes and it was really lovely, he did an every day look so nothing dark but still very polish, I didn't purchase it because I have similar grey taupe colours at home, ( it is similar to Guerlain Perles d'argent and Guerlain Les fumes, are even with UD the Naked smoky palette someone can recreate the look) also used the new blush Morning Rose, again really lovely but I can recreate the same effect with MAC pink swoon or any cool light pink. interestingly he used Terracotta light for a light contouring and then use it as a blush and then add Morning Rose to oomph the effect.... always love learning something new.

Guerlain blush were always stiff and dry. I have blushes from the divinora line, Peche Metal and Rouge feu and they are powdery but still work fine. The only blushed that were more ''silky'' were Guerlain 4 eclats I have Rose Plein Vent and Rose du Printemps those were a big departure for Guerlain.

Worth mentioning before doing my makeup he used Abeille Royale skin care, I had a sample of the serum and love it so much that I did buy it today, also used the eye cream, I like it but I refused to pay 100$ of dollar for an eye cream.

Lancome blushes are always amazing but so underrated. I still think their eyeliner art liner 24h are gems.
