You will so have skipper's remorse, if you don't get it. It sucks it is a LE, and 179.00, and no refills. You need to purchase the entire thing. Not sure the point of having a compact that can be refilled but no refills sold for it.

The Lingerie foundation feels like you have nothing on. Yet, it has good coverage, and it buildable for any problem areas without becoming cakey and yucky. It doesn't settle into the pores on my nose after hours of wear. I have found it is a lovely finish between matte and dewy. Same thing with the new Voyage powder, not really matte, yet no disco ball look either. Same thing with the white setting powder. I love the color of TF alabaster, but after a few hours I look like an oil slick. The Ink Fusion from YSL is good, but Lingerie is so much better. As in when I am in AZ it works as well as when I am Illinois. I found some foundations work better in warmer climates. Lingerie so far for me is an all weather foundation. I like it better then YSL new Touche Eclat Le Teint. Not as dewy as the new YSL one.

On the days I am wearing makeup. I only do toner, LeBlanc spot thing and LeBlanc serum. I skip moisturizer. I have found it helps foundation wear better. I do wear primer under my foundation, and the new pearl one gives a super boost to the Lingerie foundation in a good way. Better coverage, longer lasting, and hides stuff you want hidden. I used other primers with Lingerie, but did not get the same results. I also have recently learned and then checked for myself. If you are wearing eye shadow, skip the eye cream moisturizer. When I use eye cream it has the shadow settle into my crows feet. Yes, I am vain.

I do have one,I didn't skip it, do I really need another? I also have a voyage powder in mythic, love that one for different reasons. I am really liking the parure de lumiere today. So far it's wearing quite well. The Givenchy was a perfect color match, but creased almost immediately! When I test drive a foundation I will not use a primer, nor will I set it with powder. I really want to see how it performs without any help. Then if it's a perfect color match, the next day I will use primer, if it didn't perform perfectly. I will try the Givenchy again with primer and the Guerlain powder. Glad that you are enjoying your Lingerie de Peau. It's so hard for us pale girls to find a perfect color match with the finish and wearability that we want.

I thought it was all hot air about the new pink pearl primer until I tried it, and it is a wow. I use to do a happy dance when I would find a foundation pale enough for me. Yet at the same time did not make me look like the walking dead or had severe liver disease. Then for some reason the market at least to me got flooded with pink Casper foundations in the past year or so. Then I got to be more picky as to if it caked, provided good coverage, and did not settle in my pores after a few hours of wear. I loved the Dior Air foundation for color. But I looked like a spotted leopard on my nose with it pooling in my pores, ugh. Kevin Aucoin, perfect color for about 30 minutes, then it makes me orange. Many a day I skip powder and have no issues.

I really wanted that white powder :) but paying £133 I think not lol . I can do without it I just miss. I cannot justify spending that amount and it's not refillable :( shame as it does look nice !!

Ash,
What do you use to apply the Lingerie foundation?
Thanks

I used the Artis Oval 7 or Oval 8 to apply the primer, then one pump of foundation. It truly gives a flawless finish. I have found the primer really helps in covering my scar, along with the foundation. I then use an Artis Oval 7 to apply the $$$ white powder. It fits perfectly on the surface of the compact. I also have found the Oval 6 works well for blush, even strong colors ones. Such the Silk Ribbons blush from Chanel. As in I don't look like a clown and then need to tone it down. The cleaner sold for these brushes, truly works. I use a nubby white towel to rub then brushes across. Yes, I also won the black thing Artis sells. But using a white towel lets me see when the brushes are truly clean. Takes about 30 seconds to clean the clean brush, and it is ready for use in like a few minutes.

I have tried the Oval 6 and 7 for primer and foundation. I find the it is easier to achieve the flawless look with 8. I do not clean between the primer and foundation application. I use the 10 for buffing out the contour, 4 for the highlighter. Just gives the correct amount of sparkle. I also find fly aways are reduced when gather product on the brushes. The 4 works perfect for the balls from Holiday 2015. Hope this helps. Sorry for the delay is answering, not sure if I have not set it up or it is an option that is no longer offered. I don't get emails when there are new postings, ugh. I am sure it is a keyboard back issue. As in, it is me that can't figure out how to set this option up.I also sometimes use 2 pumps of primer for those long nights shadow I at times get....

Isn't that like a summary of all the updates of the thread? Do we have the option where you ONLY get an email if someone replies or quotes you like before?

Instant should email you immediately when someone posts. Daily and weekly are the update summaries.

I have attempted to reset to get the instant email notice, but it keeps flipping back to something else. Hopefully this last try I just did will work, ugh

Right, I know that bit. But I don't want an email summary of everything people post. I just want an email if someone replies or quotes me. Is that the same thing as the Instant/Daily/Weekly now?

Thank you Ash, I haven't tried any of these brushes yet. I think I'm going to take the plunge!

If you are only going for one go for the oval 7 or 6. Oval 7 can pretty much do the entire face, but eyes and lips. 6 is great for foundation, primer, contour, blush. 10 is pretty useless, or unless you are doing your shoulders and stuff. I use it for blending the blush/contour/highlighter. 8 is for foundation/primer, 7 for setting powder, 6 blush, 4 contour/highlighter, 3 for concealer for the eyes and around the nose. The funky one I think it is 1R is great for blending powder eyeshadow. The cleanser is a must. Just put directly on bristles and rub on nubby towel, until no product is left. I also found I hold the head when I clean them. If you just hold the handle, the head might snap off. None of the Artis brand heads have snapped off. But all of the ones I brought from MAC their heads did snap.
