I got joli teint liquid foundation and tried it today with joli teint powder on top and LOVED IT!! i was shocked how much it covers. for some reason i was sure it was very sheer, like it doesn't cover anything. also it is slightly more matte than what I am used to. only problem is the color, i got sample of clair which is now darker than my skin but i hope it would work when I tan. but i am not sure if clair is right undertone meaning is it yellow enough or is it neutral. I also tried natural but i forgot if it was way too dark... i should have gotten sample of that one too

Love using them during the summer. It's suppose to give you a faux tan look. It's darker but doesn't look Orange. Just mimics a natural tan with glow.

I really want one of the new powders, but I'm unsure about which shade to get. My nearest Neiman's with a Guerlain counter is 63 miles away, what to do?

I'm YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat BD50 which I think is about NC30 and I got the 03 Natural Brunettes. It is warm-toned. This shade works fine for me to apply as a light finish all over the face, or with a denser brush in certain areas to add more warmth. Would work for darker skin tones as well - Meddy has the same shade and loves it. Based on Monsy's swatches, it looks like the Clair Brunettes is similarly warm so if you're lighter than maybe NC25, perhaps Clair would be a little better? But they're pretty sheer so I think you could make either work.
I'm going to have to try the Clair Brunettes, I think. Talking myself out of this hasn't worked. I'm about NC22 right now; do you think that's the right shade? I need a warm-toned powder.

Thanks. I just came back from Shoppers with Clair Blondes. I think I could have gone with either, really. They're both pretty warm.

Best part is that I now have enough Shoppers points for $100 purchase tomorrow (bonus since my points would normally be worth $85). Decisions….decisions...

Natural will be way too dark for you; it's too dark for me right now. It's a good summer shade for me (assuming it didn't kill my skin) because I'll be NC30 in a couple of summer hours if I'm not really careful.

The colour is buildable so it will be perfect in summertime if you slightly tan. If you prefer a lighter effect look after Chanel les beiges fluid version in 10

Natural Brunette 03 is perfect for me---I actually love it. I'm wondering if it would work for you too.

I started using them last summer and I LOVE them! I use them year round and a darker version for the summer. Glad you're enjoying them Monsy!!

It might since we seem to have similar colouring. I'll give it a try, thanks Meddy! :bouquet:

I got to swatch the new "crescent moon" (my name for them) bronzer/ blush combos. I'm not a bronzer girl, but I really liked the Light Blondes shade on me. The others seemed too deep and/ or too warm, but I might have to give in to that lightest shade.
