Guerlain Meteorites Perles Primer

Ok so Im not one to buy primer for the face, only ever the eyes, but when I saw this at my local Guerlain counter I simply couldnt resist!

The MA told me Meteorites Perles was LE for summer 08 but went perm when it prooved to be insanely popular.

The product is a gel that contains hundreds of little multi dimesional pearles that are supposed to illuminate your face, underneath your make up and because of its light diffusing properties, it will help conceal a multitude of sins. You typically only need one pump, where it comes out in a pearlised pale pink foam and glides on so nicely over your moisturiser.

This smells lovely and you can see straight away how it makes your face glow, its perfect under foundation or on its own, I just absolutely love this! Its not cheap and should ideally be worn for nights out etc instead of daily.

The only problem I have with it, is that if you wear heavier foundation, the gorgeous luminosity wont really show through, so this is ideal when used under lighter foundation or when you go au natural.

Overall rating: 4/5 - simply because of the heavier foundation point
Price: 4/5 - this costs £32/ $65 but it really is so worth it
Packaging: 5/5 - I love girly the bottle, pewter coloured lid and transparent glass bottle displaying the pink pearls
Would you buy this product again? YES!

Overall rating: 5/5 I LOVE this. <3
Price: 3/5 I paid £37, I can imagine the product will be long lasting though.
Packaging: 5/5 it's very pretty! The pink pearls are lovely.
Would you buy this product again? Most definitely will be using this for a long time to come. I'd like to try Guerlain's other primer too with 24 karat gold!

Only got this recently and I've only worn it once but it's so nice. Feels like velvet on the skin, so silky, I made everyone at work feel it! It's of a very light consistency, you only need the smallest amount for a full face application too. I can imagine that it could turn sticky if you load it on. It is an expensive product, I paid £37 but I can see it lasting a long time and being a very useful all round product. I've used MACs primers in the past and thought for the money I paid I didn't get so many applications.

This adds a lovely freshness and evens the complexion. It's mattefying but at just the right level, you still have a slight dewyness but it's not too much. Has a slight shimmer but it's really not very noticeable, too me half an hour to realise, adds a pretty glow.

I have found also this product does make the foundation wear and look better for longer. Goes very nice with MACs Mineralize line!

P.S. This needs to me moved to the review section!
