EDIT: I'm checking out the Etsy shop and I see a lot of colors I haven't seen before. My Darling Diva list has gotten even longer. Sigh. I want more from this brand, but it's always restocked when I'm in the middle of buying other brands. I still have Scofflaw tomorrow. Darling Diva will have to wait again.

Thanks, luckily you will have some consolation with other polishes and Hot Chocolate you got! True Blood is also great. I almost got it once but it sold out before I was able to order.

Shrimp Cocktail is the only color I needed from Harlow's restock. I still want to get my hands on Hot Chocolate and some older colors like Awesomness.



I've heard that refrigerating your polish is supposed to extend it's life, but I don't think it's necessary. They're not refrigerated at stores. Plus I have too many polishes to fit in the fridge. I also don't think I would want to apply cold polish on my nails. I'd be too impatient to wait for them to become room temperature. I also think maybe taking them in out of the cold temperature could harm them?

I probably get most of my nail polish from NPC and I buy a bit from Llarowe and some of the brands private stores on Etsy and Big Cartel and such. And a few from Loblaws too! I haven't been to that store- I have bought a couple polishes from Sally Beauty when I've gone in for my hair stuff, but usually I like to google lots of swatches before I buy. The transit fare probably costs as much as shipping sometimes... I remember when tokens were 5 for $9! *shakes fist*

NPC said they were trying to make the free shipping any order permanent on their facebook page some time back, but their free shipping on $25 orders they had before was ok with me too... doesn't take much for me to get to that threshold!

On the way to the farmer's market today I passed by a winner's and wound up walking out with nail polish. I bought a brown Seche (Portabello) and a Ciate that I fell in love with ( Cream soda, sort of a light grey). Took it up to the till for a price check, and it turned out someone had taken it out of a foils kit. I ended up buying the kit since the entire thing was only 10$. So now I have foils to try sometime as well.

I was just talking to somebody at a Sally Beauty and it sounds like they order in their nailpolish weekly, and may be able to get in shades of the lines they carry (Essie, OPI and some China Glaze). So if the free shipping goes or NPC does not have it that may be something to consider. Doesn't hurt to phone and ask.
