I love to spoil my husband at Christmas. He's so good to me and our kids.

So far I have gotten him:
A TomTom GPS system for the car
All of Vince Flynn's books
A bunch of Get Fuzzy collections (4 or 5 of them)
A get Fuzzy desk calendar for work

I'm thinking I'll get him a massage and maybe a few movies too.

Well, my husband originally wanted a new soldering iron for Christmas, but now he's seriously looking at getting a smaller handgun (he has a conceal and carry permit).

PS3's are way too expensive!! *pouts

I gave him a little penguin that talks when you squeeze it already and I bought him reindeer boxers that have little bells on them and everything. It also comes with some antlers that I'm going to MAKE him wear. rofl.

I just ordered a corduroy jacket for him too, but I dunno if he'll really like it.. and that's it. I don't have a job so yah.. not too much..

I cannot WAIT for Christmas!! My husband never asks for ANYTHING nice or expensive. So, he wanted a right hand ring that had onyx and diamonds. Well, he saw one on macys.com he just lit up about and then, of course, decided it was too expensive. Like another girlie above, I got it for him! It's GORGEOUS and I cannot wait to see his face!

That's basically what my hubby and I have done ever since we bought our house a few years ago. We basically either pick out something we've been wanting for the house or something big for us to do together.

This year I think we'll be buying a package of dinner/wine tastings at a local authentic Italian restaurant. The owner is from Tuscany and he really does a nice job with these dinners. Basically it's a new region of Italy every 3rd Monday of the month for 10 months of the year. Six delicious courses and 6 wonderful wines, excellent service and a lot of fun since you're seated with 4-6 strangers that you end up chatting with and getting to know. It's $499 per person for the package of 10 meals, includes tax & tip. We checked it out in November for the hubby's b-day and really enjoyed it. It'll be a gift to ourselves that will keep on giving all of next year. =)

I'm thinking about getting him klipsch custom-3 headphones cause the ones he has now are falling apart and he keeps grumbling about getting new ones.. and well I think he'd like them.

other then that.. we normally go out and buy what we want so I have no other clue. its normally something thoughtful

I write alot so last year it was a collection of the poetry I wrote for him hand written in a book. this yeah.. I dont know how to top it.

A Calvin Klein 365 Trunk, some paintings from China, silk pyjamas, and some other small stuff I found in China!
It's always very difficult to find something ("no honey, I don't need anything"), but this year I'm quite happy with the things I've found! (and I guess I'm part of the gift b/c we haven't seen each other for more than 3 months and Christmas will be our first real time together

Since I got my boyfriend a Guitar Hero for his birthday, he's been harping for a real electric guitar, so I bought him one. I'm also giving him an iPod Touch, but that's just on the side because I just won it from the office raffle and I'm really content with my iPod Nano already.

Same thing....only he already got the tattoo and I already paid for it. So I am knitting him some mittens eventually...

I'm planning on getting my boyfriend snowboarding goggles as well as a platter of baked goods (shortbread, rumballs, mince and butter tarts, cherry snowballs, tiny carrot cake muffins, with a small bowl of nuts and bolts mix in the centre of all the goodies).

I bought my boyfriend a camera this year. A Canon Powershot, to be exact. If I had the money I'd get him a Digital SLR (not to mention, one for myself). He knows he's getting it. I want to get something else. I was thinking of getting him the box sets of Heroes season 1 or LOST season 3. I can't decide :p

There are some amazing gifts here and some lucky men.
I've got my husband some gloves - sounds rather rubbish but they are very nice leather Hugo Boss ones. We're trying to not go over the top and save our money for holiday.

I loooove this idea! I need to check around my area next year for something like this, sounds like something we would really enjoy together.

I shelled out a grip of money for the PS3 and all the fixin's for my SO's birthday a few months ago, so Christmas isn't going to be too extravagant. Got him a few smaller items: a couple of CDs, a couple of Blurays, a PS3 game, new shoes, a sweater, a GB Favre jersey. Stuff I know he wants/needs and will enjoy.

If my boyfriend wants something enough, he's probably already bought it for himself. I'm the same way, but with "and if I think it's worth the money" attached : )

So we've both kind of given up on getting each other gifts for any occassion (usually just have a nice dinner). This year, I'm considering paying for his new dryer. So romantic, ha ha. I'm hoping to at least pick up some small fun things for him though, he's a little grinch-y and I'm determined to break him!

I got my Hubby a nice leather jacket for Yule. I know its not something he really needs but it will look good (he doesn't have a "nice" jacket, just grubby work stuff) and he'd never buy it for himself.

I know this is an old thread, and in a barely visited subsection of the forum to boot. But since holiday season is upon us again, and I have had an espresso and cannot stop typing, I'll list off the gifts for my SO this year.

Autocad 2010
radial tires
a new phone to replace the one the klutz just broke

He's a very practical person, and he tells me to go easy on the gifts, as he does not need much, and is just happy with my presence. I suppose it's not really romantic, yet at the same time it's a reflection of his thoughtfulness. Strangely he finds makeup to be a waste of money, yet he does manage to purchase some powders and brushes for me during the holidays.
