I've just about completed my holiday shopping, and I think I treated my boyfriend really good this year. Last year was rocky because I shared my gift ideas with his mother, and she took those ideas and left me screwed into a giftcard and a sweater. Well not this year!

I got him a 5 disc changer stereo w/ iPod compatibility
Ratatoullie DVD (he's 5 upstairs)
A Matix quilted jacket he's been wanting for a few months now
A nice t-shirt I saw on sale
$50 iTunes gift card

I think that's about all he gets lol

My SO is Jewish so I decided this year I was going to give him a present for each day of Hanukkah. My plan is start out with simple presents and work my way up to the big presents. So the first day (Tuesday) I'm going to give him cookies, or another baked good. The second day is a framed photo of us. The third day is a photo I love of his family, also framed. The fourth day is going to be two pair of boxers. The fifth day I got him a t-shirt, but I ordered it online so I may not come in till the day or two after. The sixth day is a pair of lounge pants, I love stealing these to wear at his place. The seventh day is a gift card for EB games, since I know there's a huge list of new games he wants. And the for the last day I got him a new pipe, since he lost his old one that he really loved. Now hopefully he doesn't read this lol.

EDIT: Also Ratatouille is one of the best movies I saw last year, I'm also getting it for my 4.5 year old cousin. But I think I may get myself a copy after Christmas

I got my boyfriend a wireless system for his guitar so he doesn't trip over the wires on stage, lol. He knows he's getting it as he chose it (I wouldn't have a clue) and he's very excited. Also one of those powerball things as he wanted one, and so far some chocolate. If I can think of anything else before Christmas I will get it but I am useless at presents and don't get inspired very easily! I'd like to get him more if I can

Honestly, if I had the money I'd get him a PS3. That's what I truly want to get him, but they're just so damned expensive.

So, I've gotta think about it, and figure out what else I can get him that will at least be almost as good.

I'm thankful that his roommate already has one. I was going to get him a Nintendo DS but I then wouldn't have been able to give the 8 presents for Hanukkah.

I also would like to get my boyfriend a ps3, but unfortunately I can't afford it...so I think I'm getting him this video game chair that has these speakers and attaches to the xbox 360 or something like that...I don't get how it works hahaha.

And some other little things too..

I bought my boyfriend a chair (it's a really lovely red, weathered leather with these huge arm rests), a leatherbound copy of the Dungeons and Dragons guidebook, and a TAG Heuer watch since his last one broke.

Had to put the chair in the attic to he wouldn't notice, took two of my brothers to help me get it up there, lol.

I'm getting my boyfriend a $200 dollar watch that he saw in a catalog. He was just flipping through and said "Oh I like that...too expensive though"
So I'm just going to get it for him. It's pretty. I wonder if he'll remember. :]
I'm also going to make him a little mini stocking and put his favourite candy and some gift certificates in there.

Also, earlier in the month he mentioned to me "lets decorate a tree in your woods". I think he thinks I may have forgotten about that, but I'm gonna buy decorations and stuff and put just the light son a tree, and then take him into the woods and turn them on then we can finish decorating the rest.
ahahah. we're kinda weird.

Such wonderful ideas! If my SO wasn't so damn difficult. I asked him what he wanted for Christmas and he stated, "Car parts". Car parts, car parts?!? I don't even know half of what goes into those things! Aaah. What can you do?

I just bought my hubby a Gretsch Drumset which he has been drooling over for months. It took me a while to save up for it but it's worth it seeing him so happy hehe. It's both a xmas gift and a 1 year wedding anniversary gift.

I'm not a very rich person... so it'll be some little gifts here and there. Already got him an electric shaver, and I was thinking about getting him 1 or 2 sweaters or polos.

He likes practical stuff so that's what I am going to give him.
Plus, maybe something cooked by hand

Sounds like my boyfriend. When I asked him what he wanted for Christmas he said "A Lowes gift card". I was like I'm not getting you a gift card for Christmas. So he goes "ok...Tools!!" Haha I don't know anything about tools, I might as well just get him the gift card so he can go pick out his own. So I think I'm going to do that but I have to think of something else to get him to go with it.

My bf and I don't get each other such lavish gifts. So far I've gotten him a Burton snowboarding hoodie, and I might get him something else, like a beenie or maybe a watch. We'll see.
