Does anyone have information on this color? Specifically the texture and description. It's not on the website, leading me to believe that it's l/e or discontinued.

help please! thank :]

I brought mine from my local CCO a few months ago! Its a very pretty color. Thanks ERINE I never thought about pairing it with bronze, I'll have to try that.

I heard Electric Eel is similar in color...just not texture. Nothing compares to Veluxe-I wish they'd come out with more and stop getting rid of them!!

It was introduced to the permanent line in Aug '03 with the Ve-Luxe collection, but was DCd, as someone mentioned, not too long ago.

Oh with bronze?? Wonderful.

The reason I haven't worn it in so long is because of how bold it is, but I think I could definitely wear it well with bronze.

I agree. I find it really hard to work with!

I do like other veluxe shadows, though --> Velvet Moss =

I would actually have to disagree! EE is pretty much a true bright blue, whereas jewel blue is more aqua.

I've never had a hard time with it, usually because I use a heavy base underneath it!

I have Jewel Blue and I cannot for the life of me get it to work. It is such a pretty color that pops. It was one of the first Mac eyeshadows I purchased.

I've found that if you use a good base on your eyelid, and a sponge applicator to apply the jewel blue, it comes out fantastic.

It didn't work when I tried applying it with an e/s brush, and without a base it's pretty much transparent.

Jewel Blue may be hard to work with, but it is so worth the effort. It is totally different from Electric Eel, IMO. I started a thread titled "jewel blue" a few years ago asking for tips on how to make it work. Lots of good info, you should look it up if you get it.

I love it w/ Parfait Amour in the crease and Carbon in the outer v. So sexy!!
