??? Best MAC Brush for Blush???

I have the 187se, full size 188, and I think a 168se, mainly what has come in the face sets like 2008's holiday face set. But I need a good brush for applying blush. I have a similar full size to the 168 from another brand but it's not very good. I use my 188 for when I apply highlight like Lightscapade, that way I don't get too heavy handed. Please keep in mind I'm still rather new to the face brushes so any other recs are appreciated.

I have most of the eye brushes and love them, especially all my full size, big difference. Thank you!

This is a good question and I was going to stop by the MAC counter this weekend to talk to one of the artists there. I've researched the 116, 129, 168 and 109 for blush brushes. And lots of people recommend them all! I don't know what to get since I'm still trying to figure out what the difference is...

I also wonder about the new #165 which I think is LE, is it better for contouring than the #168 would be? And what is so special about the #138? I mean it is $52. Is it that great, worth it and what do you use it for?

The 165 is the baby version of the 138! I admit i have a 138.. its really soft and all but i hardly ever reach for it.. its just too big for my face.. I like the 165 for applying blush, highlighting and conturing

i use the 168 for the exact same purpose... So its a hard decision.. If i were you i would invest in the 165 because it is limited edition and you can always go back to get the 168. They are great brushes but which one you will like depends on personal preference.

I would say the 129 brush. I use the flat part to apply the blush and the tip of the brush to start blending it out and OH it looks FLAWLESS.

I use the 150... I know that's a sin in the makeup world, and I don't do this on clients, but for myself personally... I have big cheeks and I usually wear INTENSE blushes that wouldn't be meant for very pale people, so I need lots of fluff in my brush to help apply them in a subtle way

Otherwise, I'll use my 187.

Definitely get the 187... you get the most natural looking application of blush ever with this brush (well on me anyways).
the 129 is also awesome... I have both but mostly reach for the 187.

I use the 188 because I have a small face. I love it!! I use the 129 for bronzers.

Does anyone else use the 130 for blush? That's the one that seems to work best for me. I also have a Hakuhodo G5552 though, should I try that?

Ooh I have the mac 130 at home. I have to try it out for blush. I have tried both 187 and 188 for blush. The mac 187 is too large and sheds. The mac 188 is a bit better than 187 for blush.

I always use the 129 and love it. I have the 187 but I have never tried it. Probably should a day. I would like to also try the 116.
