Best MAC Blush Brush

I need a new blush brush but i honestly don't know which to get. I'm currently using the 168SE but it's not blending my blush well enough for me. It ends up leaving such a harsh line that i have to buff it out with a flat top kabuki brush. I'm looking for something that has soft bristles, blends well, and is a good size (not too small, not too big). From what I saw on the MAC website i was thinking maybe the 116,129, or 187. But since I'm fairly new to MAC i really don't know what's best and I'd really like some of ur opinions. Any suggestions you girls have would be great!

I love the 187 because it leaves behind blush that looks so natural and is blended very well. However, the colour application tends to be sheer so if you like a more dramatic look, you'd have to layer it on a few more times. But 187 is def. my favourite...very soft, blends extremely well (love it with my Nars blush). Might be a bit big if you have a smaller face though...in that case check out the 188.

I use 129, but you gotta be careful with 129 because they are one of those rare inconsistent MAC brushes. Try and find a fluffy and soft one as some of them can be harsh.

187 for sure it applies and blends well. Application is sheer, then you apply more if you want i love this brush specifically for blushes. I used the 116 a while back and its ok but i preferred the 187...

I used to use the 129 and Karii I didn't think of it before but I def got a bad brush it's so rough on my skin. I would of tried to get a softer one. But now im using the 187 and love it.

129 is def a hit or miss kind of brush and it's one of the few. The other one is the 219, you can either end up with a pointy one or a dome rounded one but some people do prefer one or the other. I also like buffing in blush/MSFs with 182 as well or 187, just depends on how sheer/bright I want it.

i find the 187 too big for my face. My HG blush brush is definitely the 116.
Very easy to use...jus tap the brush on the pan and apply on the face...and it's g00d for blending as well too. Good for precise application of blushers on the cheeks

I use the 116 for light colored blushes, 168 for contour, and 187 for really dramatic blushes like Dollymix.

116 picks alot of powder ,187 picks lesser

depends on how pigmented u want the product to be on your cheeks..

I've only ever used my 187 for my foundation, and I'm not happy with my Paula Dorf blusher brush. If I start using my 187 for blush should I get another one and keep them seperate? I mean I don't want my foundation to end up looking different colours! Or would it not really effect it that much?

i like the 188 because the 187 is too big for my cheeks.. you get more precision on those apples with the smaller 188!

I love love love the 188 for blush. It blends so perfectly that you don't have to practise how it works - it does everything for you. HG!

I like the 187 for a more sheeer application, but the 129 is new my fave. For ages I hated it because the one I had was from one of the holiday sets and it was horrid (really scratchy). However, the regular 129 was used on me at a MAC makeover and I loved it so I grabbed one for myself and it's fantastic!

i know how you feel. i bought the dupe from coastal scents to use as my blush, and the 187 i currently have will be saved for light foundation application
