If someone want to order from NARS website, there is code SIERRA for 20% off so i ended paying 36$ for this, instead of 46$ how much i paid in sephora

Hey guys!

I have reviews of some of these up on my blog.

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Polynesia (has swatches of Malaga, Seychelles, Martinique & Polynesia) -- > http://thebeautyisageek.com/2012/02...-tinted-moisturizer-in-polynesia-the-rundown/

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Martinique --> http://thebeautyisageek.com/2012/03...tinted-moisturizer-in-martinique-the-rundown/

I'm NW43 and to be honest my 'perfect' shade would be right between Martinique & Polynesia. Right now Martinique is perfect for me but once I tan for the summer Polynesia will be perfect. Here's a little bit of a comparison:

Nars Sheer Matte in Cadiz ~ Martinique
Nars Sheer Matte in New Guinea ~ Martinique/Polynesia

Interesting. Tried Mocha and it was a match, it's the same color as Revlon's oily caramel.
I can't wear Revlon's foundations--they break me out.

Mocha was definitely a match for me because of my strong red undertones. However, it is so dark I can only use it in the summer or if I'm vacationing in Florida.

I went back and got a full botttle of this in shade Alaska. I've never used tinted moisturizer before and I'm very pleasnatly surprised. Really nice finish, glad I held off on LM one and waited for this to be relased. The shade I have will most likley be good in the summer when I'm tan too as it's a tad dark right now but then again my face hasn't seen the sun in like 3 months :/

Yeah one brand says olive, the other is medium, another is deep, some say yellow. It's a headache.

hahaha, by MAC standard, I'm medium (MSFN Medium, SFF NW25), but in Nars, Chanel, Lancome and MUFE I'm light. I can also be neutral or cool undertones depending on brands. I gave up trying to describe my skin and just get what matches, it's all too confusing....

^^ Enjoy! I'm never tried a tinted moisturiser before too and have thought of buying LM.

I'm NC20-25 so I guess I should get Finland? I don't think it will be too pale on me, hopefully. I don't get to see Nars products in person before purchasing so I need to do my research well. Do we need to finish off with loose/pressed powder after applying this moisturiser?

Miss QQ - Some folks who are lighter (NC15 or lighter) were saying here that Finland was dark on them so it should suite NC20....even if you tan in the summer this product is pretty light so it will be forgiving if you go a shade or so up. I fluctuate between NW22-NW30 depending on season and I'm pretty sure Alaska would match me no matter my amount of tan/no tan.

Later found out that Mocha isn't my color after all! Revlon works but I can't stand the smell!

Two times I've visited Sephora, so far I have been matched with Polynesia and Martinique. Did get a sample of Martinique and Malaga(for my mom) but I decided to try it and see. Malaga is a hair too light so I think Seychelles will work best. I'll get a sample to make sure. Martinique is a little too dark I think it's best for MAC NC55's or New Orleans-Benares colors.

ETA:
Got a sample of Seychelles. It's a pinch darker than Malaga so it's a perfect match! LOVE how this TM feels on my face-feels so smooth and moisturized. Will be interesting to see how it works now that it's practically summer here BOOOOO. Either way I'm going to have buy it for sure!

I got this today despite my reservations. I'm afraid of it irritating my skin, but I felt I just had to give it a try. I got Malaga and I have to say it look great on my face. I get a glow like Ingenue said. It glides on nicely and everything and I didn't have any irritation after wearing 8 hours. Hopefully, it'll stay that way.
I'm glad to hear it's working out for you Shontay! Hopefully, you won't have any trouble with continued use. I really like it. Definitely a keeper in my book.

Interesting. When I swatched Malaga and Seychelles they both turned a yellowish cast on me

. If it wasn't so yellow Seychelles would have worked and I'm MAC NW43/Cadiz - New Guinea.

Glad Seychelles worked for you. The formula is amazing, isn't it? It really is helping to improve my skin.

We have been having some warmer weather lately, so the day i got a sample and it's left me very oily. I was glowing!!! Way too much glow for one chick, lol. I feel like this will work better in colder temps so I will check back next winter. Did anyone notice it smells just like MAC Face and Body. They both have orange in them. I got Polynesian, which is the darkest and there was no coverage what so ever. I wasn't expecting anything heavy, but this item didn't do anything for me. I didn't think the color range wasn't great either, a shade or two can fit in between Montinique and Polynesian.

i found the nars pur radiant definitely gave my skin a healthy, natural looking glow, but i do agree on the coverage aspect....i'm actually saving mine for the warmer weather, because i feel i'll need something a little lighter. so i've gone back to using match master on a day-to-day basis, which gives me coverage, but i have to apply it with a mist of toner and buff it in to get a more 'natural' look....

I didn't. I find that setting with powders don't work, and it also changes the color of your original layer. I find it useless over another product when it's hot out. Plus if you wear a product that does not transfer, the powder worn over it will. So its a waste. I have severely oily skin in the summer and it's not going away, so this summer its all about skin care, so I won't need a whole lot of coverage in the long run. Not to go on an oily skin rant, but if you are really oily, nothing is going to work for long term. I like prolong wear though, but the colors aren't right. Thanks though.

I do believe that this or any other tinted moisturizer will not work for oily skin, that's why i asked you.

I have oily skin, it's pretty bad! But tm's have never been an issue. I got the sample of the correct color, tried it on indoors-stayed indoors and my face was a complete grease slick. Normally I'm not bad while inside, outside can be an issue. Not sure how this will work out, the coverage is great, love the color, smell, and feel but my skin was too greasy. Maybe I need to do the milk of magnesia primer deal?! A friend also with oily skin loves it. *shrugs*

Alot of people who are oily wear tinted moisturizers. I think it just depends on the person. I hope a lot of people try this product out because it has a lot of benfits for the skin.

I know they will have to pry this product from my cold, dead, fingers. I love how it's evening out my skin tone, helping to lighten some old acne scars, and it is so lightweight and has no artificial fragrance (a bonus for my sensitive skin). Like I said earlier, the key for oily gals is to have a primer, and a kick-ass oil absorbing powder.
