yes. The only thing that removed the foundation was an oil based cleanser. But now the brush is greasy. I may try dawn at this point.
Or u can saturate the brush in body powder for a few days after combing yes combing through the brush to absorb the oil and then wash again in a normal brush cleaner

What do you guys use to apply this foundation? The sales lady told me to use my fingers, but I really prefer to use a MAC foundation brush and buff it in quickly. Am I doin' it wrong?

I heard fingers too, but I just can't bring myself to do that. I take too long and the foundation dries really quickly. I absolutely love how this foundation looks with a damp beauty blender!!

I just got this foundation as well. I have yet to try it though, I think I'm going to start with my real techniques expert face brush, that thing rarely fails me :p

I've been using my fingers lately too. I prefer to use a brush, but you use more when you use a brush and it's a $48 foundation. I'd like to conserve it!

I've actually found that my fave way to apply this is with my fingers followed by my wayne goss 001 brush (the small on from the essentials collection ). I tried so many brushes till I caved and used my fingers and It really does work best imo

Me wearing Nars Pro-Prime Pore Refining primer, Nars ADLW foundation in Macao and Soft Velvet Loose powder in Mountain
Wow. Gorgeous. So what brush do you use to apply mountain? And have you found that the powder cannot be swirled or buffed but only parts on? I have heat and it make me look kind of.... Muddy? Idk

I actually use a velour powder pouf to pat it on, it gives me a better finish IMO... What color foundation r u using??? It could be the foundation or the powder that is resulting in a muddy look...

I think I was wearing a Smashbox foundation. I also tried it over primer on bare skin. It is a nice powder but I am having trouble with application. Maybe it works best with the Nars foundation which I don't have. It's a it too dewey for me. Maybe I just need to take my time. ...But now that I think of it, my friend stated it she thought it may have been the foundation I was wearing that made me think I looked muddy.
