this girls blog in the first post has picture of the Nars Sheer Glow foundation with a pump on it I'm not sure if it's a Mac foundation pump but maybe looking at the pic you can tell.

Hmmm...I'm not sure as I haven't seen the MAC one irl but it doesn't look like the pic on the MAC web site to me. I do know the testers for Sheer Glow have pumps so I wonder if she may have taken that photo at the store? I'm going to try contacting her. Thanks alot!

^^ I agree, and she's very nice too. She answered me very quickly about the pump. They happened to have an extra at her counter and gave it to her. So I am still in search of one...

The comments on the post say she asked if they sold them, at her NARS counter, and they do not, however they had some spare, so the girl gave her one.

^^ Exactly.

I wrote to NARS online asking if I could buy one from them and this was their response:

"Unfortunately, we do not have the pumps referenced in your email request.
Only retail stores/NARS Counters are shipped this type of collateral item
for the use in their tester unit."

Then I wrote back to ask if I could buy one directly from the manufacturer and this is what they answered:

"We regret to inform that our manufacturers do not sell to outside sources
such as retail stores, personal orders, etc. They only produce the batches
of products and ship them to their destination whether it's our online
stores or retail stores."

I have since written to ask them to consider selling this foundation with a pump in the future or offer separate pumps for sale on their web site but have not yet heard back. I imagine they have heard this about a gazillion times already as I've heard the same complaint about some of their other foundations. Why they don't respond more positively to customer desires on such a little thing is beyond me.

Write them again and say,

And, Also (this is how my 7 y/o starts every sentence, so annoying) Myself and 50,000 of my friends have decided to not buy your foundation until it includes a pump LOL

Hahaha...I already bought it from them online so maybe I'll have to leave out the part about me and just talk about the friends. Anyway they did answer again and said

"To my knowledge I don't think the counters will offer the pumps for retail anytime soon. However, I will send the feedback to our Product Development team as I'm sure they'll be interested to hear the feedback our clients are providing with reference to the liquid foundations."

I will give them credit for answering e-mails quickly!

^^ And then you'll get the answer without your question attached. Hopefully you haven't written more than one as I have in the past....and you have a good memory of what you asked!

BTW> The MAC pumps don't fit on NARS Sheer Glow, the pump is too big (the neck of the NARS bottle is smaller).

Loving my SG tho... just wish I had a pump for it.

I had an older Smashbox Photofinish Primer, and was able to use the pump from it. It doesn't screw in all the way (the threads are longer/taller on the NARS bottle) but it works.

I have never tried it, and just went to Nars counter and bought one, but I hate that nars foundation have no pumps.
I can see the "potential" excuse of why they might have excluded it and sell it separately, but I still think thats a BS excuse for something that cost almost $50.
