I'll try to get better pics taken tomorrow. I bought it in an eBay auction. The seller didn't even know what it was, stating that this is an eyeshadow in the description. I don't have a clue how she / he got it. It has no box, but I'm 100% sure this is the real deal.

Enjoy!

That's a pretty great ebay score!

Does it have golden tones to it or is it pinker in real life?

I wonder if it's going to be similar to the matte peach blush MAC has in their Tartan collection? Multiple brands often come out with very similar shades at the same time.

I'm thinking this colour is especially meant to go with some of the metalic eyes and/or berry lips for this season.

Finally I'm seeing my score in daylight! I'd say that Sex Appeal is a pink blush with definite peach undertones, if that makes sense. Some daylight pictures. The last picture features also Illamasqua's Lover and Shu Uemura's M 43 Peach. As you can see, it's pinker than the other blushes in the comparison, but the Shu Blush photographs too yellow most pictures for some reason, so keep that in mind. But I'd say the Shu is a good dupe when it comes to color, but not when it comes to pigmentation. I didn't swatch it yet, but I had a tiny flake of the product coming off from the corner of the pan. So I 'swatched' that, and it's by no means sheer!

It looks pretty, but I'm going to have to pass since it looks like something too light for me, but I won't know until I check it out in person!

I took my courage together and decided to post a FOTD with the blush on. Excuse the funny nostrils, this is after 11 hours of wear and no touch-ups:

The blush is very pigmented, and it took only a couple of swipes to show up. I'm very fair as you can see (around NC10?) and doubt the blush would work for anybody above NW25 or NC25. But then, I'm not familier with MAC's shade system really, because I never found a match and don't have a PRO store nearby.

In case anybody wants to know, this is what I wore.

Foundation: Graftobian Hi-Def Glamour Creme in Graceful Swan (shade very similar to NARS Firming Foundation in Siberia), set with NARS Loose Powder in Snow

Blush: Sex Appeal, MAC Perfect Topping ONLY on the high point of my cheeks

Eyes: I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk set with Bobbi Brown Bone as a base. Stila Kitten as a highlight on browbone and tearduct, NARS Rajastan (lighter shade on upper and lower lid, darker shade in creasa), NARS Daphne in outer V. Stila Ebony just on the outer third lashline (upper and lower). I'm happy to report that there is zero creasing, even though it's not visible in this picture. Bobbi Brown Mahogany on brows. Maybelline The Falsies for mascara.

Lips: Nothing

Gorgeous color. I feel like it's not really going to work for me. My skin is almost the same color maybe a bit darker. It will just fade away. I was excited but ...meh. I think it's so pretty for lighter skin tones. I'd love to see it as a highlight on darker girls.

I saw this blush last weekend when I went to NARS to get Gina and Gilda. It looks pretty in the pics but when it's swatched, awww.. It looks powdery for my opinion.. Don't wanna risk trying it though.. I'll pass on this..
