Hello! I'm new here and I've been browsing around and you all seem to know a great deal about make-up. So my question is, I'm very fair skinned, like I need white out type stuff haha, I can never find a good combination of right shade and good coverage. Any recommendations? Thoughts? Thanks:)

(Moved to Recommendations.)

How much coverage do you want (sheer, medium, full)? What sort of finish do you want (dewy/luminous, satin, matte)? What's your skintype?

* MUFE Ultra HD in Y205 (I'm considerably fair-skinned myself and this is too pale even for me! This particular shade runs a bit peachy.) or R210

* NARS Sheer Glow in Siberia or Mont Blanc (the SG range runs yellow. Despite the name, it's neither sheer nor glowy. More a medium-ish coverage, satiny finish.)

* Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer in SX01. (It's said to have a peachy undertone, but personally, I've never noticed that. I use it as a spot concealer, but you can use it as a cream foundation. Close to full coverage, satin finish.)

* Illamasqua Skin Base in any shade from 2 to 6 or so. (Shade 1 is white. I've never used this, but my understanding is a little goes a long way. I think it may be more of a matte finish, though? But you could mix in a liquid highlighter to add some glow.)

* Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation in 012. (It and the other lighter shades are too peachy for me, but the texture is quite nice. A little similar to MUFE, from what I've been able to tell, and a bit more expensive. That said, their website offers sample sets so you can try it out first.)

* I've also long heard good things about Bourjois Healthy Mix, and they recently added another light shade -- 50 -- to their range. (50 and 51 are the lightest.)
