Primer for Acne-Prone Skin

Can anyone recommend a primer for acne-prone skin? I'm willing to try anything, but I'm wondering if there are any good ones without dimethicone. Silicones and my skin don't seem to get along.

Maybe combination? My cheeks are quite oily, but the rest of my face is normal. But definitely sensitive and acne-prone.

You could try using two primers -- something more mattifying for your cheeks and a different one for the rest of your face. Or if most of your face holds makeup well in general, just use primer where you need it.

Another silicone-free rec for a mattifying primer would be MUFE's Step 1 Mattifying Primer. If you want one for the rest of your face, maybe Laura Mercier's regular primer (I think it may be the only silicone-free one of all the primers she does).
