I don't know what I should get for the sale. I'm leaning towards Ardency Inn and a Guerlain Kiss Kiss lipstick. However, last time I checked the Guerlain shade I wanted was out of stock and they don't carry this shade in store. I also can't makeup my mind which store to go to for the event.

What kind of things are people hauling for the VIB sale?

I'm thinking about getting a couple of nars shadows, a YSL blush, a few new brushes, and stocking up on some skin care items.

I'm also interested in a new foundation. I currently use Sephora's 10 hour foundation in 05, clair (the fairest color) I also believe I've been matched for Nars in Mont Blanc. I have oily, acne prone skin. Very fair with pink undertones I believe. Does anyone have any recommendations for me? I'd appreciate it.

Not sure what to get for the 20 off but some of my past purchases they no longer carry. I see they don't have carols daughter, which sucks. Guess because she's all HSN now? Monoi rocks. And they no longer carry Illamasqua :thud: I tried some Givenchy earlier this year but found them small and, to me, the bronzer and blush weren't so great. I do like Marc Jacobs blush, but not his foundation or concealer. Had high hopes though. I'll see what you girls are going hunting for.

I got my eyes on Phyto weightless hydration kit for $25 then planning to use vibseason code to get the pampered set next week my haul will be Givenchy le rouge framboise velours and MUFE e/s trios

Hope you all can help here on MUFE. Am I incorrect that a trio in case is $44? If you purchase more than 1 trio does it not discount it for you? Because I purchased more than a trio and it didn't reflect the discount. Am I missing something ? Thanks :shock:

I believe any additional shadow is then priced at $14 after 3! Thats how it works at the boutique! So the trio at 44 and then additional shadows at $14 each!

Thanks for the suggestions! The smashbox one is nice I looked that up. I had the ABH one and returned it I don't think it would match her well (I know you can choose shades on her website). I might go for the smashbox or stuff from Nars

I forget what brand I said not to use, but I think it was a drugstore brand of some type. In my experience/opinion, drugstore products do not have enough active ingredients to really make a difference in your skin. Active ingredients are expensive, and drugstore companies either water down their products or just don't use high end ingredients. Also, I've noticed that a lot of drugstore brands tend to be harsher on the skin, which can lead to an over production of oil and/or dry skin. When I learned in estie school what certain ingredients do and what ingredients are in products like Dermalogica, it cemented my opinion that you really get what you pay for in terms of skincare. It's kind of like how drugstore makeup often has less pigment in it than higher end makeup? I'm not saying EVERYTHING from the drugstore sucks and there are exceptions (Cetaphil is a pretty good cleanser for a lot of people, for example).

Dr. Hauschka Rose Day cream or Dermalogica Barrier Repair are really good creams for drier skin. I also like Vichy Liftactive Night cream. I forget exactly what's in Vichy and Dr. Hauschka's creams (but I own them both and really like them) but I have a book from estie school on Dermalogica's products and I could tell you exactly what's in it and what the ingredients do, if you're interested.

Hmmm... My derm recommended CeraVe and Cetaphil for my skin. Along with an expensive cleanser from Neostrata. All work great. I guess it depends on what you are buying. Oil of Olay and Jergens has kept my grandmothers skin looking good for 30 years. You wouldn't guess she's 82. All the expensive eye creams I've bought did nothing. Almost all expensive moisturizers except for one by Murad broke me out.
I'm going to go with different strokes for different folks.

Everyone has different skin! Mine is really picky about what I use. And it's quite frustrating because I have normal skin that tends to break out. And most acne treatments are designed for people with oily skin. Frustrating.

I remember when I could use regular lotion on my face. But my skin went haywire when I moved back to the Northeast. It's a different kind of cold here. I've had little eczema break outs from time to time (I'm talking years in between little flare ups) since puberty but I'm getting patches all over now. I'm pissed because the steroid cream my doctor gave me has lightened my skin on my chest and my face is darker than my chest now so when I use my foundation it always looks too dark.

You need to also purchase the trio case for it to work, it costs $1 and ends up to be free after the discount

Too bad about Cetaphil. You can try embryolisse. That's the best moisturizer ever for my dry skin. I wouldn't claim that it heals eczema, but definitely calms your skin when it's acting up. You can't get it in stores, but it might be worth looking into.
