Even though I no longer actively set out to maintain my VIB Rouge membership, I think I will always remain VIB Rouge as long as they continue to sell the brands I like exclusively (except for the brand's website) and because they offer free shipping with no minimum purchase amount. With the renewal, I also got this year's VIB Rouge Renewal Gift. I have the full sized version of the brush, which is the only brush I use to apply my blush, so I'm happy to have a travel sized version of it, even though I think they could offer a better gift for spending $1000.

Even though I feel as though I'll continue to renew my Rouge membership every year, I think it's gonna take longer for me to do so since quite a few brands that used to be sold through them exclusively are now available at Ulta. Overall, I prefer to shop at Ulta rather than Sephora so I go to Sephora solely for brands that are available exclusively through them.
As far as the brush, it's definitely worth it if you decide to get the full size. I'll have to check out the 45 and 47 brushes as well, I love Sephora brushes. It's my second favorite brand of brushes behind MAC.

I'm wearing my Natasha Denona Sunset for the first time today and highly,highly recommend it. I can see what all the hype is about - these might just be the best shadows I've ever used. The mattes are incredibly smooth and blend like a dream. The metallics and duo-chromes are so intense yet wearable. The chroma ones have a little fall out but nothing that I haven't encountered with other brands.


I'm really tempted to get the Star palette or a few 5 pans.

OK, there was a holiday (even though, like I said I ordered Tuesday), but it's been a whole week and I'm getting pissed. My order contained more of the PTR moisturizer and serum because my serum is all used up and the moisturizer has about a dime size amount left. They apologized, gave me 150 points to my account and...I got a shipping confirmation and a notice that I'll get my stuff this Friday shortly after getting in touch with them. That's even more annoying because I wonder how long I would have to wait had I not gotten in touch. I know this story isn't rare, but this is the first time in awhile that it's happened to me and...ugh.

Heard there was a lot of disappointment from those that attended the store events. Guess a lot of stores either didn't get the makeup bag that was promoted in the email or the bags were empty. Glad I was able to buy online versus driving over 25 miles to my nearest store.

They said there was a shipping issue and I could come back to get the bag later in the week. In lieu of that they were offering 100 pts on my card. That being said by the time we got on the line the bag was there. I never expected the bag to have items in them based on the actual email. That being said the next time they have this sort of event I don't think I will get up early to go. I wanted to go to the particular location I went to today because they had the MUFE cream shadows I've been silently stalking. Everything I wanted to purchase would have been accessible during normal business hours. The only preview item I was considering was the Too Faced Glitterbomb but they didn't have any testers for any of the products. That is something that I would have really liked to swatch first. I honestly think I want the KVD Glimmer palette instead. Why couldn't that be at the preview!
