Just received my Sephora order in one of those flat-ish rectangular shipping boxes with ZERO cushioning inside. So of course my eyeshadow palette arrived completely smashed and all over everything else. I also ordered a moisturizer as a gift and the box for it barely fit inside the 2 inch high shipping box, so the box was completely crushed and ruined, unpresentable as a gift. WTH, Sephora?!? I've never seen such a thing! #firstworldproblems , I know.

Oh no that's terrible! I was kind of worried about receiving the Pat palette and it be ruined since I normally order Pats products directly from her site but I wanted to use the Sephora gift card and thankfully I received it today in good condition.

I too have started getting together what I want to get for the November sale but it probably won't be very much since I got quite a bit in the last sale.

Wow, that's terrible. It's so irresponsible of them to send off product like that. Call them and light them up!

This MJ highlighter is gorgeous. It looks exactly the way it does in pictures and the packaging is stunning. Seriously, my mind went to buying another one, but that would be a waste since you won't need a lot of this in one go. MJ finally hit it out the park on this after the disappointment of that coconut bronzer for me.

Yes, I called. The rep was nice and apologetic, sent replacements immediately, 1 day shipping, and said she'd pass along the packaging feedback.

I ordered the MJ The Big O eyeshadow. Hope I love it on. It looked so pretty when I swatched it in store.

I also got Mac's mineralize blush in Sweet Enough. It's really really pretty on. If you loved CT new Pillow Talk blush, you might love this too. It's a bit more mauve/pink natural nude rose shade. Soft and natural on.

SO excited...got my new iphone Xs today :cloud9:

It such a pretty ivory champagne shade. It was super cool & fast how it transferred all the info from my old phone.

Those shadows are so weird to me. I've swatched them several times in different stores and the matte shades (the only ones I'm interested in) look one way on my finger and then get considerably darker as I apply them on my hand. The Big O especially comes off on my finger just the way it is in the pan and then when I rub it on my hand it turns into some muddy gray/brown. I hope yours aren't weird.

Oh and I ordered the brown Fenty lip paint this morning. I told myself to wait til it hits stores, but nah. Can't help myself.

This is my first hourglass palette given that I thought previous ones would be too light for my skin tone. I'm wearing it today and wow is it an amazing palette. I am very impressed. Just a heads up that a little goes a long way with the bronzer shade. It is much more pigmented than I was expecting.

What on earth are these people thinking?!! Clearly they are not. I'm so sorry that you had to deal with this headache. Glad they took care of it quickly!

Are the pan sizes of the Hourglass palette super small like they have been in the past?

I saw somewhere on the Sephora forums that they’re still having it and that the August sale was meant as an additional perk and not as a replacement to the November sale.

I can't compare them as this is the only palette I have, but I believe that they are the same size as there are comparison photos on IG. The pans are small but the powder is really pigmented so you don't need a lot. The pans are also big enough to use the individual shades without overlap. I've used my Mac and Wayne Goss brushes without any problem.

It's not just you. I watched a swatch video and the same thing happened to her. I own only Bravo so far and I can tell you the shimmer shades are 100% the go to with this formula.
