Hi girls! I've given away tickets here for past sales, but this time around I need one for myself. Let me know if you have one or two to spare :)

This is my first time going to the sale, I managed to get tickets from a local spa! I'm extremely excited, this could not have come at a better time - I left my makeup case at a hotel 2 weeks ago and it "disappeared" from my room! It had everything in it, brushes, eyeshadows, blush, foundation, tweezers, even my contacts!! Oh well, I'm glad I have an excuse to spend a little more than what would be considered sane haha. See you at the sale!

I have a Sleek iDivine palette in Storm BNIB (new, not swatched, I bought it to give to a friend, and she already had one) to trade for 1 ticket for Friday or Saturday, or for 2 charity bags. Will trade in Toronto, in person. (Retail price was $10 plus $13.50 delivery, this is your chance to try this without paying the expensive shipping from the U.K.)

Just curious, which spa was it - can you PM me the name of it? I got mine from a spa too. So an update to my earlier request for tickets on here; I was able to secure tickets to this sale. Thanks to anyone who maybe was contemplating considering giving me tickets :) You'd think though that so many people go to this sale, it would be easier to get your hands on these... :S

Yay! I got tickets for my first ever MAC Warehouse Sale! Going on Friday :)
I bought mine for $15 off Kijiji, and as the sale is approaching the prices of the tickets go down, so if you guys want to go you should check!

Anyone have any tips?
I know that the warehouse is usually separated into three rooms/blocks, if you want an item on the table you have to get paper and write it down and give it to the sales people so they can bag it for you. Anything else I should know?

Congrats, you will have so much FUN! FYI there's a separate FAQ thread on the sale:
http://www.specktra.net/forum/thread/158311/estee-lauder-warehouse-sale-faq-ny-canada

Read the opening post, and lower down post #10 by me, with some extra info.

When I first went, I forgot to get charity bags! So don't forget, look for the table AFTER you pass through checkout. Bags are $5 each, and cash only, max 4 per person. Unless they change the price...

Some things that people often miss - there is a FULL SIZE brush set (187, 168, 222, 263 in a black case), it's off to the side in the 3rd room usually. It used to be $75, I think it's $80 now. Look for the 8x10 paper sign on the wall with the price, it makes it easier to find. Another thing I used to miss is the antiques table - it's in the 3rd room, and it seems like it's just old perfume bottles and stuff. But this is where they keep the couture collection items. I picked up a Baroque Boudoir powder and case for $12 once. They still had the Monogram compacts last time I went in December.

Another tip - if there's an item you're looking for that tends to sell out (such as Cleanse Off Oil, popular MSF's) - check at the returns table in the last room. Sometimes people change their minds and return stuff. If you ask nicely, the people manning those tables may look through and find you what you want.

Have fun!

bring a pen with you, so you dont have to wait and use the pencil that are on the tables
plus double check they give you the correct products
ive been given the wrong product before :S and you cant return anything when you leave the building

Great advice to double check the return table for items that may be out of stock by the time you hand in your number to get the item...I didn't even think of that!

Darn, now I want to go to Ontario :) I'd kill for a Charity bag if any kind soul is willing to ship it to Oslo.

I'm planning to get quite a few charity bags (bringing my boyfriend along so he can get me some too!), so depending on the variety/if I have extras, I would be willing to send a bag to you :) The bags are $5 each, I'll see how much shipping would be, just PM me your zip code! I can't see the whole thing being more than $10 -15.

@RebeccaV: You're too kind. I've responded. 10-20 CAD is not a problem. I'm just really curious to see what items are in those charity bags.
