has anyone gone 2day to the mac sale??? I'm going in the evening! I'm so excited...hopefully the prices aren't as ridiculous as it was in dec...I didn't buy anything in dec as everything was overpriced! I'm going 2day as well as on sunday! YAY me! Hopefully I find cleansing oil for $8...totallly love that stuff, best makeup remover EVER!!!

Considering that MAC etc. rarely ever goes on sale and that you can get your hands on this stuff at a pretty good discount, I'm not complaining about the prices, even though they did go up in December, it's still an amazing deal! :)

I got back from the sale a few hours ago, here are the prices:

liquid foundation $12
concealer $9
mascara $12
eyeshadows/pigments $12
eyeshadow palettes/quads $25 (there was one that was $25 buy one get one free, didn't like the colours though)
blush/face powders (and some mineralize eyeshadows) $15
brushes from $5-20, no full size sets (that I saw) and terrible selection
lipsticks/glosses $10
Fix +/cleanse off oil/eye makeup remover/most skincare products $12

The $4 bins had really nothing, a few mini-mascaras and half lashes, random mini creams and some mini charged water...I was one of the first 25 in line and rushed right to the bins but didn't get a thing.

My free gift was a MAC pencil sharpener (I was really hoping for an MSF, which I've seen people get in previous years)

My charity bag contains:
MAC Mineralize all over lotion/moisturizer
Full criss-cross false lashes
MAC cremesheen glass in Boy Bait
MAC spf mineralize foundation loose in Medium Deep

I got 8 bags (boyfriend grabbed 4 for me!) so if anyone wants to trade, PM me and include your email, as its easier for me to reply

I'll be making a haul post shortly, I spent a LOT but it was worth it, I needed to replenish my entire makeup stock as my makeup bag was stolen a few weeks ago...so I'm really happy with my purchases!

Ughh. Sharpener again as the free gift?
Did all your charity bags have the same things?

omg I went to the mac sale 2day and came out empty handed! First time ever has that happened to me that i left the sale with nothing! I'm going back on sunday again so hopefully if the prices go down i'll be able to get few items. I'm so glad to see the cleansing oil there, so whether it goes down in price or not, I'm gonna buy few for myself till the next sale! Those work like a charm. I was pretty unhappy with the $4 bin. Ususally it has some good stuff but this time nothing..I was really unhappy with some of the prices there. Triaktlen(however it's spelled), it's a great undereye wrinkle filler, the first time i bought it a year ago, it cost me $8 and 2day it was $25..I call that 'highway robbery'. I rather find another substitute at a drugstore than pay $25 for it! I have enough of the lipsticks and lipglosses so I'll pass on that for now...but i need some of them lip gelee's for sure. The price was definitely decent for lipgloss $10. I haven't seen the deal buy 2 get 1 free in a while..when is that happening again? Oh well...can't wait to sunday again and hopefully better prices!

I went this afternoon.. I didn't buy too much, but my mom spent a few hundred on those Estee Lauder collector compacts.. she loves them.

I got
- Cleanse off oil $12 (also saw the mini's at the $4 table, but the full size is actually cheaper)
- Origins grapefruit body buffer cleanser smaller size $4
- Monogram Sheerspark Pressed Powder in Old English $15

There were a few MSFs that were nice, but I have quite a few already. The ones I saw included Petticoat, Sunny by Nature, By Candlelight, Blonde, Redhead. I wanted a full sized brush set, but only saw the mini sets, with bag $35, without bag $30.


I left at 8pm. My free gift was a sharpener.

I was trying to find the $80 Full sized Brush Set that StarrySim had mentioned but I couldn't find it anywhere :(
There wasn't any Mini Fix+ which was disappointing, they also didn't have any vanilla pigments

Somethings I got:

-Tartan Tale - Cool Thrillseekers Pigment Set - $25
- Miss Violet - Look in a Box - $40
- Mini Charged Water - $4
- Fix+ Lavender - $12
- House of Mirth - Deep Lip Kit - $25

I left at 7:30, Free gift with a sharpener (Ugh, they have like 3-4 HUGE boxes of these)

The $80 full sized brush sets were in the 3rd building on the same wall as the returns. So when you walk into the building go to your left. They still had them last night when I was there. The Vanilla pigment was sold out by Friday night. They had a lot of glitters but not too many pigments this time. Although they did have the 3 Tartan Tale pigment sets!

Thanks for posting girls! Looks like I'll be sitting this one out, but I can live with that. My awesome friend hamiltonchicky picked up a few things for me just so I don't feel like I missed out completely :) Looking forward to my Leopard Luxe quad!

Glad to hear they still have the full size brush sets after all! And what's with the crappy charity bags? I remember the days when they'd have 3 different ones at a time, and they had shadows, lipsticks, fix+, MSF's, eye liners... Although Boy Bait was a very nice one to throw in there this time around.

Edited - don't need Boy Bait anymore, got one after all :)

I want to go but going to wait tell June maybe prices will go down. All I really want is to stock up on essentails Fix+ Lavender, Cleans off oil and MSF in Medium Plus did they even have any MSF naturals out this go around? Hopefully by June some of the latest released quads like cavier dreams will be there.

the only msf natural they had was medium with other other half shimmer.. their shades are so light :(
