How far are you from the border? You could always look into whether or not there is a store just accross the border that allows people to ship there, and then just go pick it up.. I live in Northern Ontario, about 30 mins from the american border, and ship things to store just past the border.. People just have their stuff shipped there, go for a short drive and then pay 3$ per package to pick them up...

Also, I think there is a website that you can sign up on, and have it shipped to them, and they ship to you.....

or.. if you know anyone who lives in the US, you could ship to them and they could ship to you....... or possibly a trusted member on here will help you out??

LOL, can you tell I'm a shopping addict?? where there's a will, there's a way...

TKBTrading.com sells a ton of palettes that are really simple and cheap. Maybe those would work better?

If not, you could always slip some must-haves in a brush belt with uniform loops.

thank you for the link! the only lip palette i saw on there only held 5...but i think I'll get something similar to mac's lipmix palettes made by japonesque...

here's the link if anyone's interested. Holds 36 lipsticks

I just posted in another thread about using ammo cases for storage options - http://www.specktra.net/forum/f239/s...1/#post1918568

The place I link to does ship within Canada (they have a dual US/Canada site).

This is what I posted in that thread:

I just tested the ammo case I keep for my atomizers, to see if lipsticks fit.

Most of them, including MAC, fit into the slot just fine. (The only exception I found was my CK lippie, which is square and just a little too wide. You can see it sort of sticking out in the back.)

However, they were all just a a few millimeters too tall to close the lid. You can also just remove the lid entirely and use the bottom half alone. The lid will pop off the hinges if you force it.

This case also comes with a little divider liner that fits on top of the slots, that narrows the openings a tad. I removed from the case for the lipsticks, but if you keep it on, you can actually store lipglosses in a sturdy way as well - without the lid, obviously. (Of course, a case for a smaller gauge would probably fit them more snugly, without taking up as much space.)

The size is for a 12 or 20 gauge (up to 3" magnum) - adjustable due to the liner. The one I use is here: http://ca.wholesalesports.com/storef...rod204019.html

There are a bunch of cases for varying gauge - 12 will fit liglosses, 20 will fit most lipsticks.

There is a stackable, no-lid case for 12 gauge, which might work well if you want to store a whole bunch of glosses in a drawer or something (because it's a really fugly color): http://ca.wholesalesports.com/storef...rod254943.html

This tray might work if you only have round lippies, and it comes in a range of sizes: http://ca.wholesalesports.com/storef...prod78304.html

^^ I like that idea and I actually like how it comes out a lot. Mine would probably look like a mess though. I'm never good with things like that.

this is how I store my l/s (other than my purse, lol

)

Its a pretty basic hinged plastic/tupperware type box (covered at the top). It has a styrofoam base inside the (to hold everything in place), and some cardboard dividers...This is more for portability/storage...Not for 'pretty' display...And it cost just 13 + shipping. It works for me.

50 compartments

It's on this page: (scroll down to look for the lipstick box under organizational aids).
