I usually do my eyeliner like this because I have such big eyes and a little bit of eyeliner here and there doesnt cut it so I figure this little trick out and it makes my eyeliner look so much better.

thank you~.. interesting technique. I do something similar but use gel/waterproof anything as powder will always melt on me and run into my tear ducts.

OK, I just ask because I am not too happy with the black powder I have now. I would love to try it that Maybelline liner. Thank you

I am blessed with large eyes.i think that the danger here is making some eyes less open.I suggest that a 50s look can help.Applly liquid liner to top lid only can produce a v glamorous look&give a more feline look to those who havve more almond type eyes.Of course red lipfs&sharp liner is a must to accompany this look lots of mascara too on top

Yeah I do like using the gel liner as well but always pat some powder overtop to getting it really black. What gel liner do you use? I'm looking for one that wont dry out and get gross.

Yeah a lot of drugstore black powders are really crappy and lack true black pigmentation. My sister bought a small pot of Black from Pur cosmetics and it's great, not sure how much it is tho

I agree, I also have large eyes and was always teased about it in school, it wasn't until I got into makeup that I realized they were a blessing in disguise and I love them!

The powder I have been using is Sephora Collection and it is a really great eyeshadow... it just isn't as dark and matte as I would like it to be. I will have to check out the one from Pur.. Thanks.

Yeah that seems to happen with a lot of black powders!

I don't use eyeliner very often... is it difficult to do it this way?
It takes some practice but once you get use to it, you'll love it. I have really big eyes, so I find if I apply eyeliner to my lower waterliner it makes my eyes appear smaller, which I like, but I don't wear eyeliner everyday.
