and unfortunately the camera you bought does not have these manual functions. You have an older model of the Ixus line. It also doesn't have a lot of programs for different shooting modes, so the best you can do with that is decrease the ISO to the lowest setting when taking a flash picture.

No, macro setting is only if you do a REALLY close up like when I did one on my eye, where the camera lens is only a few centimeters away from your face. The full face pics I did all of them on normal settings.

what kind of camera do you use?? i'm thinking of buying a new one, but i dunno if i should get a bulky digital SLR, or a normal digital camera that fits in your pocket type of thing! wonderful tutorial btw, i love the clarity of the pics and the colors

OH MY GOSH!!! I LOVE YOU!!! No really I do. I have the Canon PowerShot A520 and I've been trying to figure this thing out forever. Sometimes I take great pics other times, they look a hot mess. I love you!!!
