Bare is the best nude lipstick for me and there is no similar color in MAC's lipstick line for my pigmented lips. I so love the creamy texture too. I think I'll backup 5 of it 'cos it is still avaliable in my MAC store and they never heard that slimshines are DC'ed (though I don't live in the US, they probably haven't heard it yet) plus there are tons of them in the drawers

I also love moisturecover concealer, so sad it's DC'ed. :/

The biggest mistake MAC did was to DC palatial lustreglass, I think it was one of a kind and was such a unique color. I have never seen anythnig like it at all.

Different markets....not all things that are US discontinued are discontinued globally

I'm upset about the Slimshines. Bare & Funshine were staples for me. I loved the texture & scent, way better than the lustres, IMO. I've thought about doing backups (because they're still at my counter, my SA was like huh?) but I rarely use anything up anyway.

Pink Opal pigment..WTF.

It's so beautiful, I don't understand!!! I know there are some out there similar to it, but nothing compares on the same level!

AGREED about the pink opal pigment...all my mac artists are telling me that there's a lot of changes going on with the pigment. like counters getting some that the stores currently have, and the store getting some of the pro pigments

Hear, hear! We can only hope they have something better coming down the pike..

And Cushy White plushglass....I'm offended. Seriously. I loved that. And it was the perfect milky neutral gloss....didn't settle into lines like C-Thru, wasn't sparkly white like some other lipglasses. Totally inoffensive. I don't get it.

I hope they are coming up with some new paintpots, they have so much potential in this area. I'd be far more interested in this than a bunch of new LE e/s that will come and go like brightly colored London buses.

That Cushy plushglass sounds awesome (I lurves me some plush) so I will have to go find some of that...maybe my CCO will have some?

I'm confused as to why they let go of Velvet Moss e/s. It's one of the most unique e/s I've seen and such a lovely green color.

That's because back in June they had a Pigments at counters and several Pro pigments were rolled into the regular line.

I'm not going to miss the Moisturecover Concealer... it didn't live up to its name; it was neither moisturizing nor did it have enough pigmentation to actually cover anything!

I'm really confused about why they chose Pink Opal. It was definitely the first color of it's kind out there, and they DC'd it?! Okay, okay.. I'm more angry/confused about it, haha.

Boo to the discontinuation of moisturecover! Pro longwear is WAY too dry for under my eyes. It creases and cracks and looks flaky. Moisturecover is heaven. And sad to see CCBs go. I ordered pearl and shell before they vanish.
