It seems like most of them have been gone for a while. Has anyone had any luck finding the shadestick Gracious me? all the ones I find are probable fakes. I'm sad MAC looks to be getting rid of shadesticks altogether.

>>I just read there were a lot of posts on shadesticks a while back. I apologize.

While the shadesticks aren't my favorite base, and they can be a pain to blend, I do find that their sticky consistency helps to hold my Lustre e/s in place with less of the glittery fallout.

I was never a fan until fairly recently - it took some work, but I've managed to make shadesticks work for me (they were never soft enough for me) - just my luck that they're for the chop!

I've found them excellent for packing on pigment as they give a more sticky layer than paintpots or most of the bases I've used.

I'm definitely going to need to find a good shadestick replacement. I can't live without my Swimming & Mythology e/s

. Otherwise I guess i'll have to buy some Beige-ing backups.

I'll have to try them with a lustre one day (when i buy one, lol-i dont think i have a single lustre shadow?????) I always tried to stay away from those. Sounds like shadesticks would work for that though....

Shadesticks are being reformulated, or so ive been told. The beth ditto collection which was recently released, has a few shades in a version of the shade sticks. I LOVE THEM! They are the shade and smoke shadow and liners. :)
