I'm looking for a cream with these needs

It needs to be thick and absorbe fast
needs to moisturizer for 24 hours
Needs to for sensitive skin
Needs to be ordor free

Please for all you dry skin ladies out there that have found a good moisturizer help a women out, I'm ready to shed my skin it so dry hahahha.

I was going to suggest this on your foundation post- MAC Complete Comfort Cream. It actually saved my skin. I'm extremely dry- I actually used to get excema on my face before I tried this. I used Philosophy Hope in a Jar before this, it was okay- but this kicks it's ass. Morning and night! Make sure you're moisturizing at night, it's just as important if not more than morning. Also what face wash are you using?

Hers my two cents! haha! I have Oily-Dry skin. It gets more dry in the winter with the cold air and such. What I recommend that I swear by is by the S.Korea brand Tony Moly. Its called Fresh Aqua Tear Drop Gel Cream Oil-Free Watery Type (haha a mouthful right!) The gel comes in a super cute tear drop shaped container (if your a fan of cute packaging)

If doesn't really have a scent IMO.. The gel is blue and trust me a little bit goes a LONG LONG way.. as when you rub it into your skin it almost feels like your rubbing water into your skin, its amazing. It has a gentle cooling sensation and it doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky.. matte and dewy would be the right way to describe it. Doesn't tighten your skin or anything like that. Just rub it in and then pat your face gently so it gets absorbed! I have had BAD acne in the past and my face is now the clearest it has been in years.. and this mosturizer doesn't seam to upset my skin.. so I'm pretty sure its good for sensitive skin.. but if u do get it.. i would say test a small area. like with most cosmetics/skincare products!

you can get it here on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Tonymoly-Tony-Moly-Fresh-Aqua-Tear-Drop-Gel-Cream-Blue-Oil-Free-Watery-/150827804682?pt=US_Skin_Care&hash=item231e09a80a

or just search on ebay "Tony Moly Fresh Aqua Tear Drop Gel Cream Oil-Free Watery Type"

Hope this helps!

I'm just using this crappy morning burst face wash, I was looking for a good face wash could you suggest one! I also have excema mostly on my elbows and knees none on my face, but like you said I moisturize like its a habit and it's still dry. Thanks for the cream tip I'll check the MAC out. Is it greasy? I'm not a fan of greasy face creams. Is it just a face cream or a body cream as well?

Thanks a lot, I've never heard of this before but I'll try it out. I love moisturizer that leaves a cooling sensation the one I had before did that and it made my skin feel like heaven.

It's not greasy at all- it's aaaaaamazing. Get a sample if you'd be more comfortable. It literally saved the crap out of my skin. And for cleanser I swear by Purity Made Simple by Philosophy. The crappy face wash could be drying you out. Even Dove or Cetafil are better than the morning burst if you're dry and would prefer to stay with drug store stuff. I would really gravitate towards products FOR dry skin, anything for normal or oily will not cut it, at least if you're anything like me.
I found a GODSEND for excema... Aveda has a set with this weird oatmeal bath stuff and lotion, it saved my life I'm not kidding. I know that sounds dramatic, but I used to get it on my neck and it went away after 2 days

I want to recommend First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Cream. It's creamy and thick yet fast absorbing. It doesn't leave the skin greasy and has no real scent. You can find it at Sephora. It's a bit pricey but it does what it says it will.

right so, i was asking specktra this about 5 years ago, unfortunately to no avail i did not find my holy grail through suggestions but i may as well share my two cents

your skin is not the same as others, what works for some may not work fror you, what i like, you may not..

that said

estee lauder skin recovery complex.
http://www.esteelauder.co.uk/product/689/4595/Product-Catalog/Skincare/By-Category/Repair-Serums/Advanced-Night-Repair/Synchronized-Recovery-Complex/index.tmpl

one word uh-may-zing! its an almost instantly absorbed serum, this stuff has changed my life. it helps my skin no end, however... you still need a good moisturiser, this just helps repair ur skin, and helps restore it so it isnt so dry, damaged and dehydrated.. you still need a moisturiser too. this serum is my MUST HAVE, that said, it is pricey but so worth it, its like a vitamin shot for your face
this has a zingy smell, so i'm not sure about ur skin type? maybe ask at a counter for a sample??

for moisturisers, i can suggest a few,
johnnsons face cream for dry/sensitive skin (of the cheap ones this was the best)
avene (the french brand) rich compensating cream (my fav) http://www.avene.co.uk/Rich-Compensating-Cream-Range i believe these are okay for sensitive skin?
nivea natural beauty face cream for dry/sensitive
i have used mac comeplete comfort, it was okay, it did its job, with the serum it would be a good combo

another must have for dry skin elizabeth arden 8 hour cream... this stuff stinks, i hate the smell, but when u have a dry patch that just wont shift, there is no other, it has a texture like vaseline, but put it on overnight and by morning, flakes be gone

also, investing in a clarisonic helped me ban flakes for good

Yes I know the aveeno stuff your talking about I have used that stuff and your right it did work. Yes I agree with you the face wash is crappy I only use it because it's on hand, I was looking to buy some better face wash but I didn't know really where to start. Ill check the purity made simple stuff and see if that works.

I will def look into the estee lauder stuff I don't care if it pricey if it work I'll buy it, I may try and find a sample before I buy it though just to make sure my skin agrees with it. I don't usually get dray patches but I do the odd time, I keep the stuff in mind. I do have a baby so I have the johnsons face cream on hand and it smells so good so maybe I'll try that on my face.

I have never been a fan of nivea but people have been telling me there brand is bette then it use to be so maybe I'll give it a go and try it out besides its cheap

Laroche-Posay HYDRANORME, the best ever. Very low price here 12 € and really efficient against severe dryness.
Laoche- posay has this milk cream that did wonder for my skin, I got a sample a while ago and I loved it but for some reason I cant seem to find in stores anymore :( I'll look for this stuff and see if I can find it. Laroche-posay is one of my favorite brands

OK so another question ladies is clinique creams any good there kinda on the higher side but not crazy exspensive. People say it's not a great brand for the money you pay why is this?

I've always used Clinique I use the dramatically different gel in summer and lotion in winter. I use the thirst quencher one only on my cheeks at night. get tons of compliments and I'd say that Clinique is s mid level brand. all of my face makeup is clinique
