Asking the Experts: What's the Difference Between. . .
MAC Studio Finish Pressed Powder and Select Sheer Pressed Powder? I read what the website says, but . . . it sounded like some kind of marketing hooey, I figure I'd better ask the people that would really know.

To me, the biggest difference is in the texture of the products. Select Sheer is much silkier and a sheerer veil of powder than the Studio Finish. It has less coverage, too.
The main reason for this is the jet-milling process. Studio Finish pressed powder partisles are traditionally milled, while Select Sheer is jet-milled for a much finer, smoother powder.
