eye kohl vs. technakohl

I've used technakohl in graphblack and tonight i *thought* i got that but the girl @ the counter gave me eye kohl in smolder by accident. which one do you like better? should i return it and get technakohl or keep it? it seems to have the same color strenth as technakohl... i'm not sure what to do, any help will be great!

I don't have Smolder but I've read great reviews on it. It's great as a base under shadows to create a slightly different - but more sexy! - shade. I forgot what the combos are, but check MUA or the reviews here. If you find it stays well enough and doesn't smudge, I'd say keep it!

It depends. If you want a product for your waterline, get Graphblack. If you want a liner that you can smudge easily, get Smolder!

I agree with jpohrer. Graphblack is wonderful for the waterline. I prefer technakohls over eye kohls anyday. Technakohls are easier to apply they r softer and glide easier.

Smoulder smudges quite a bit and I find myself having to retouch it or clean up the smudginess alot.However,it's perfect for creating a smokey look as it glides on so easily,blends really well and can be used as an eyeshadow base etc.It also creates a really intense black colour.I find technakohls don't smudge as much but I do love my eye kohls!

I prefer technakohls over eye kohls, mostly because I apply it on my waterline, but if you want to use it as a base for eye shadow, then go for eye kohl.
