Ms. Lazzeri-

Hello and thank you for your question.
No, Walgreens is not carrying M.A.C. Cosmetics, however, Walgreens is now carrying a new line of cosmetics called H.I.P. (High Intensity Pigment) from L'Oreal. H.I.P. is very similar to M.A.C. in that they both have lots of pigment in their cosmetics and have fun, bright colors. You will find this line in your cosmetic area in your local Walgreens and there are testers so that you may try out the various foundations, eyeshadows (my personal favorite), and lip products.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me directly @ 847-914-3862.

Thanks

Jessie

I bought H.I.P. e/s duo in Playful...I was so hoping to like it but the lighter color has almost no pigment and the dark color has way too much pigment.

Yay! No more nasty rumor. But I refuse to try that new line out. Loreal's eyeshadow are (in opinion) awful, and they irritate my lids.

Are the glosses thick/thin? Sticky/runny? Stay on well? I'm SO picky about my glosses. I love JT's and then mac l/g is second.

Loreal HIP

You will find post regarding this line on Spectra. I have four of the eye shadow duos, my favories are Lively and Foxy.

Hmm..i dont like the e/s from H.I.P. too much. I bought 4 of the duos and theres one that i absolutely hate (foxy). The lighter shade has hardly any pigmentation, i rubbed it hard against the brush and still didnt get much out of it, plus its paired with a dark brown matte color...which is hard to blend together, since one is so pigmented while the other isnt.

I would say my favorite is Saucy, although the bronzey-copperish color is super close to Casino.

I noticed that a lot of them are combos of a lightly pigmented pearl finished color & a dark matte color, or a nice bright shimmery color with a low pigmented matte color.

I wasnt impressed with the l/g, cuz they reminded me of colors theyve done in the past...like Pixie looks close to my Strawberry Smoothie Colour Juice l/g.

Thats my 5 cents.

The lipsticks are good..I bought Brave (a dark brownish plum - similar to Push Up Plum, only not as sheer) and love the way it sticks to your lips without looking heavy..it is sheer for such a pigmented lipstick...I wore it to work the other day (we had a Lingerie event) with Burgundy lipliner and Moistly Lipgelee and got a lot of compliments on it...

Geez, I didnt believe it til I saw it and since I never saw MAC there I never believed it.

however, the new Revlon stuff is getting more pricey than MAC so its getting outta control, pretty soon MAC will be thought of as low end and Revlon as mid end soon - !
