I'm not a MA but I have noticced this too.
I actually I got a lipglass from customer service as an exchange (I inquired as to why my Raquel lipglass tasted like it had gone bad) and they sent me a new Revealing lipglass but it tasted off too. And the batch number was like A37 or something so I know it was just made recently. ???
