HELP MAC shadow dried out while depotting!

I really want to depot my 95 mac eyeshadows however I did a test run with purple haze today and even though I depotted it with NO CRACKS and problems...i noticed the eye shadow completly dried out. There is no more color pay off HELP

hhmmm that is really weird. what depotting method did you use? i use the hair straightener way and i have never had any issues where it has done anything to the shadows....

Matte shadows are much more picky when it comes to heat, did you depot hot? Generally I prefer the no-heat alcohol method (video from Enkore). As long as you have a sharp cutter the right size and go slow, it is very effective and you place does not smell like burnt plastic The alcohol fumes do not really linger.
