I think there could be a "test" forum here....where people can test out new signatures or icons, or practice how to post links, etc. Other forums/websites have a "test" forum for these reasons and it is really helpful.
I doubt that that's really necessary because at the bottom of each "post a reply" page, there's a button that says Preview and when you click that it will show any icons and signatures. HTH.
